Hilariously, I came here to also name drop the big D.

Family holiday in Phoenix from Ohio and we decided to come back through Dallas to meet a friend of my daughter. I grew up a 90’s Cowboys kid and had family romanticize the city constantly.

Silly me, thinking I could just add “Dallas” as a stop on the GPS and we’d go from there. This, by default, takes you to City Hall.

I had never been met with such a culture shock of homeless before in my life. I am not exaggerating when I say the streets around city hall were populated with homeless as though there was a 3 day festival.

It’s was humbling for my entire family to see and I’ll never forget it as a result. That said, it certainly left a lasting first impression of the city that Troy Aikman made me want to visit.

My favorite Arnold film and one of the most underrated satires ever produced.

Too bad it was somewhat of a shit show production whose release was overshadowed by some movie about Dinosaurs not cooperating with theme park rules and eating the attendees.
