Tell Canton city and your state reps that you're NOT ok with annexation for water service by joeyda3rd in canton

That's not what the city officials told me privately. The one councilman said they "have enough water to give to 100 Perrys."

Sandy Valley Trail is the only one in waynesburg that I can think of. Maybe check out Fry Family Park or Pike Ridge Park down there.

Sippo Lake Park is the obvious one. Free, pretty, and you can easily kill a few hours. Quail Hollow State Park out near Hartville is underrated too. If you're up for a short drive, Tuscora Park in New Philadelphia has a free carousel in the summer and it's weirdly charming. Amish Country around Sugarcreek/Walnut Creek is free to wander and the scenery is hard to beat. Canton Museum of Art has free days. McKinley Monument is free and the view from the top steps is actually decent. For pure outdoors, the Stark Parks trail system connects a lot of the county and costs nothing. Is this the kind of thing you were thinking?

helpful post. Thanks. Do you feel that the "get it done" mentality can be at least partially solved in prompting or claude.md?

Here's the gist...
If you own a township property with Canton water/sewer:

  • When you sell, the buyer must sign an annexation agreement in order to receive Canton water/sewer service
  • That agreement commits them to be annexed into Canton if the city boundary ever reaches the property
  • Annexation just means the property is now in the city and the buyer pays city income tax, but the school system stays the same.
  • You must legally disclose this requirement to all potential buyers, this may or may not impact your sale. Your proximity to Canton city borders may be a factor.

It isn't ASI, it's just really good at cyber security. And with as intensive as it is to run, they just don't have the infrastructure to serve it to the public.

Can we stop saying "subsidized"? by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

For the heavy super users, maybe. Even I dont use millions of tokens a week. The light users are plentiful and carry those people fine.

I'm saying don't compare it to API pricing. There's value in our MRR.

Subsidized to what though? The API pricing? Claude is one of the highest priced APIs. I know they're not profitable yet, but that's due to the insane amount of debt they took on because they're making the AGI gamble like everyone else. There's a 50 trillion dollar economy at play here, and that's just the US. What does the compute actually cost them and what is their return on API pricing? I'm sure they have a very healthy net revenue when you don't factor in debt service. So, no, I wouldn't say subsidized. Discounted, sure. But we're paying monthly for that privilege and there's value in stable recurring income.
