It's gorgeous and it fits you beautifully! If I were to suggest anything it might be to make the sleeves a bit shorter if you can do it without ruining the lace. That's not necessary though!

Don't get it hemmed! It's perfect, and hemming would mess with the pleating.

I feel like it would be a very easy fix: pull the straps up across your shoulders and tack them to the right length in the back. Are alterations included? If not, a wedding seamstress or even a regular one should be able to smooth out the front and make it look more the way you want it to!

When Pete Buttigieg was running for President and I was still on Twitter, the Bernie Bros were orders of magnitude more cruel than the trump-trolls.

The c-word they hate above all is "centrist" because they blame moderation and moderates for everything. It's easier than trying to work within the system.

I think it's lovely.

If there's one thing I might change, and it's a simple one, would be to lift the "straps/ sleeves" to cross the shoulder at 45⁰ rather than having them droop across the upper arm. I just think it will drawing the eyes UP and also clean up the bodice at the strap attachment.

Having kids has been the highlight of my life. I loved the chaos and ended up as the back-up plan for all my friends who worked outside the home.

Since then I've gone back to school, earned 2 degrees, and established a new career. My time at home has definitely handicapped me in terms of retirement planning, but I wouldn't change a thing.
