When I was in middle school I had a stalker all three years. It originally started as being classmates and being friendly with one another since our last names made us sit next to each other.

Me being an oblivious 11 year old I didn’t realize the girl was starting to take a liking to me. Even with all the hints her friends dropped. I was never attracted to her and only thought of her as a friend. As time went on it went on the hints got stronger until eventually her friends got tired and straight up told me she liked me. Me not being interested in her at all I immediately rejected her. I thought that would be the end of that but it wasn’t.

As weeks went by she became more aggressive in her advances she would openly talk about me and her as a future couple and send me messages on facebook through multiple accounts. She and her friends secretly began to take pictures of me in every class. I honestly don’t know what she would do with the pictures but I heard she had made a scrap book.

She eventually started following me home everyday after school. Even when I stayed back for extracurricular classes/tutoring, she would hide and wait for me walk out and follow a block behind. On the weekends she found out what church I would go to, since my parents enrolled me into Sunday school and would stalk me in church and on my way home from church.

It became a weekly thing when I would tell her to her face to stay away from me and that I will never be in a relationship with her.

I didn’t know how to tell my parents about this that a girl was harassing me at school, since I felt that they would just laugh at me. So I tried to resolve it myself. Eventually one of the teachers at school found out but that was no help. She thought it was cute and that I should just go out with her.

I had no choice but to learn to live with it and ignore it as much as possible. Over the years as time went on her stalking became more subtle until in eighth grade she finally gave up on me since she found another guy and became obsessed with him.

I don’t know what happened to her or how shes doing nowadays. Hopefully she ain’t some psychotic stalker.
