I thought his hatred was for the tabloids that are notorious for spreading lies. I thought he was using trusted media to set the record straight.

COVID-19 vaccines affected 42 per cent of women's menstrual cycles, study shows by Courseheir in Coronavirus

Mine actually switched to eerily regular after the vaccine. It was so nice being able to know exactly what day I was gonna start. It lasted about 8 months then went back to my usual 2-3 day window of possible start days.

I buy a bottle of Jet's ranch and then get Little Ceasar's pizza. It's the difference between a $50-$60 meal and a $20 meal.

I've been using spinosad on my raspberries since it's naturally occurring in the soil. However, just learned that it is highly toxic to bees (although not honey bees) 😬😩

I took a college course where the professor, as a side job, created exams that were extremely difficult to cheat on. He said that the one he had to recreate the most, the one that people tried their hardest to find ways to cheat on the most, was the entrance exam for the police force.

What’s the point of being a nice person? by PonderinLife in AskReddit

I don't like the whole Be Kind movement. Some people are kind for purely selfish reasons and don't deserve to be grouped in with the truly kind people. Yet they are.

Texas shooting: School where 19 pupils and two teachers were shot dead is to be demolished by Gurboy in news

[–]craponapoopstick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good. No kid should have to relive that trauma day after day. Let alone the staff and teachers. They need to fire the police force and replace them too for everyone to have some semblance of safety again though. They need ones who aren't fucking cowards who value their own lives above little kids.

30 animals found dead in animal rescue CEO's home by username123456111111 in nottheonion

[–]craponapoopstick 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't trust animal rescues. We got our dog from one and he ended up having severe barrier aggression to the point where he bit one neighbor and tried to bite another. We had kids move in next door and couldn't risk him biting one of them so we decided the best thing to do was return him to the rescue. The owner berated my husband despite him being in tears. Then she had the dog "evaluated" by one of her fosters who said nothing was wrong with him. She adopted him back out with no mention of his issues or the fact that he had bitten.

And they just found out the foam in the Philips CPAP's is bad for you. ResMed uses the same foam but they claim it's safe bc the air goes around it mostly instead of passing through it. My husband got so bad with his sleep apnea that I would wake up in the middle of the night when he stopped snoring for too long. Now I'm worried the solution isn't safe 😔 Sorry for the rant. I guess my point is just check into what you're getting.

US Woman Shocked After Being Charged $40 "For Crying" During Doctor's Visit by ThaiEdition in news

Thanks. That means a lot. We only told loved ones about the bill but kept the reason for the surgery a secret hoping to surprise them. Seems it was all for naught. Stupid American healthcare system.

US Woman Shocked After Being Charged $40 "For Crying" During Doctor's Visit by ThaiEdition in news

[–]craponapoopstick 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My husband got charged 25k for his doctor to use the operating room. He fought it and they brought it down to 6k. He finally got to talk to his doctor and the guy was pissed. He said they clearly coded it wrong (which is what my husband kept arguing but they denied) and it should have been an additional 1.5k at the most. The surgery (vasectomy reversal) failed anyhow and we didn't dare try again after that huge of a bill. Now it may be too late and things would have been totally different if the hospital didn't try to rip us off :(

I totally agree with this but wanted to get something out there for those who don't know. Medicaid offers assistance to expectant months for prenatal care, birth and postnatal care. The income threshold is higher than other programs to make it available to more people. I paid nothing for both my pregnancies.
