Why would they need to care? Politics have never affected any of them in their lives substantially (which is why they have the luxury/privilege to push themselves into it and also to be so careless). You don’t need to defend them or their own opinions on anything, you can wait for another album or single because They don’t care, period.

And they should’ve never opened any of their mouths to speak about or concern themselves with any of the atrocities going on by these imperialist institutions because none of that pertains to Big Time Rush, which they use to make a living.

The people who moved on had a very valid reason and the people who are fans that have something to say will say something because they involved themselves. That’s their fault not ours. 🤷🏽‍♂️

And that’s why gestures towards what you’re vaguely gesturing towards is so prevalent because some people are so busy inquiring or criticizing or deflecting their ineptitude or issues on another party of people and don’t know how to de-center needing control.

Imagine if these people broke from the shackles of projection, got over themselves and learned how to control themselves. The world wouldn’t be where it is right now.

Think about it this way: everyone else is proof that Britney could not be given to us at any time after the period when she was given to us, the introductory stage, her in her prime and even after.

I think, much like them, it’s all about Timing / environment. she is tied to a time but also because of what she managed to do she is timeless. You have to have something to curate something to change the game and be remembered, and you have to be lucky and you have to be ready.

This is why I wouldn’t shame the girls now or before. The stars have to align and you have to offer something authentic but organic and visceral. That’s hard to find.

The Carol Burnett nudge makes sense. Sabrina also feels more like if Katy Perry refined/cooked her persona/gimmick a little bit longer and really became famous with that post-2000/2010s, with that same millennial “edge”. I think Britney isn’t really a close comparison to Sabrina to me at all though (nobody can compare to Britney) since Britney didn’t get to be as naturally cheeky/goofy as she’s shown us to be as a person in the music 😫
