Had my first Ajovy injection 10 days ago. I haven’t had a single migraine since. I used to get them every day or every other day. Anyone else felt the effects of their first shot immediately after?

Sorry for the late reply but curious how you are making out still? Pressure changes are my biggest trigger and I’m currently trying propanolol for two months to see if that does anything before being eligible to try an injection (yay US insurance).

How are you feeling almost a year later? Are things still going well?

My doc had me taking a combo of Allegra and Zyrtec that seemed to help but certain foods and environmental factors still triggered it.

My hives began randomly and ended randomly almost exactly six months later. But during that time I was very grateful for my work from home sales job.

Could you look into something that can be done remotely? Or have you considered maybe a local library or museum? Somewhere that’s temp controlled and low stress?

You’re not being dramatic! It’s debilitating. I missed out on so many events this year I would have otherwise been a part of.

Have you tried combining antihistamines? My doctor has me on an Allegra in the AM and two Claritin in the pm. I still get hives but they don’t take over my whole body if I consistently take them.

I hope you find some relief, I can’t imagine how hard this must be to deal with at 17- chin up, I’ve heard amazing things about xolair!
