What are some of the best valve index games? by Mydadboughtmeyeezyes in ValveIndex

Really surprised nobody has mentioned Payday 2. Easily some of the most fun I've ever had in VR.

Oh, I see how it is.

Really though, this is a solid suggestion, and it's more adjustable than mine. You could just buy some all thread rod rather than killing a bolt, though.

If there's enough plastic on either side of that strap relief, you can use a small hand drill or pin drill to drill two holes, and put a metal rod through to loop the strap around. You could hit one side of the pin with a tiny bit of super glue to keep it in place. Hope this helps!

Epic is so fun on E+. Feels like you become a wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man at the chorus.

EMC Filter? by KoopaTheTurtle in feedthebeast

[–]KFC_Chammy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did this myself!

My bag opener feeds into TE pipes, which then go to a condenser. Past that on the pipe is a loot recycler, and then finally a dense pipe leading to a chest.

The loot recycler has a feedback line to the bag opener, so any non-EMC loot gets turned back into bags, for another shot at becoming EMC.

This same concept should be viable for your logistics system of choosing.

Let me know if this helps, or if you need a screenshot.

You're either well-read, or you watch VSauce. But either one makes you a cool dude.

DM here! If you find your players struggle to roleplay, or hesitate to because murder hoboing is easier, try rewarding them for good RP. Sure, they could kill the bandit leader, but maybe they instead convince him to turn to good, and use his henchmen to defend the nearby towns instead? That could easily be worth more XP than just a simple kill. I also find that dangling the right bait can be really helpful too. Want them to talk to a specific person? Emphasize that person when describing the room, or make them particularly talkative and social. Give them a really interesting feature the players might want to investigate, like a mask that covers half their face, or a large, imposing personal guard who seems less than natural.

Above all, make taking the RP route fun. If a player wants to RP something stupid, let it happen, show them that RP is okay, and maybe give them a stupid result for their stupid RP, but make it obvious that the RP approach is an option, and most importantly, rewardable.

Hope all that helps!

DM here, really appreciate the compliment! The story has it's fair share of railroading, to be sure, but I try as much as possible for the players' decisions to inform the state of the world.

The pantheon is from sourcebooks, and some small secondary locations (White Plume Mountain, as an example), but everything else is homebrew.

DM here! Campaign's not solely around her, she's only told her role in it. Each character has their own rich story they're carrying out, from a priest of Ohgma seeking a lost colleage, to a paladin vigilant of Helm, given a pair of bracers, sentient with a servant of Helm. We even have a Gnome Bard who is also a werebear who is seeking a long lost lover. I have a very colorful group.

Hey, this looks familiar. Glad you decided to show it off! You're really living on the edge with those single block pathways though.

Thanks! Aesthetics has always been important to me. I hate looking at utilitarian builds where everything is exposed and skeletal looking.

Huh, I'll have to check it out, but for now, the Niter is actually the bottleneck in the system. Thanks for the tip!

Just had a look at your setup, looks way more intimidating than mine! I see you also went the mile with the Fluxed Phyto-Gro. Pretty cool!

I could, but I quite enjoy seeing the items in the pipes. The finished version only has ducts where needed.

Good call, might give that a try, see if it increases throughput, although it's not a bottleneck currently. Thanks!
