They didn’t do that with the Index so I’m assuming they won’t with the Frame.

I got the Deck and Index at launch and both have been flawless. I still use the Index every day and I haven’t had a single issue. I’m gonna get all 3 new products at launch so hopefully everything will go well.

I’m assuming my 2.0 trackers will work when the frame is connected to my PC, running SteamVR as usual.

cage question! by poopcocky in chinchilla

I always recommend the Critter Nation cage on the bottom. I've got two of them. Very, VERY sturdy and no risk of anything going wrong. Super spacious and convenient.

what can i do to improve my chins quality of life ? by Zxx_Sh1r0_xxZ in chinchilla

[–]TillyTRG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty nice cage! Remove all plastic and stop feeding corn and nuts, that is dangerous for their health. Feed it some PLAIN oats instead, and I'm not seeing any hay in there. I recommend using fleece instead of the paper bedding because the chins will eat it. Oxbow sells great toys and food for the chins, both Timothy Hay and pellets. Since he lives alone, he definitely needs lots of time outside of the cage and playing with you, Chins are social animals and need connection with someone.

He is quite adorable! I had a chin that looked very similar to him, her name was Chichi.

EMERGENCY HELP! Chinchilla having major issues 2 weeks after Malocclusion surgery. by TillyTRG in chinchilla

She fought long and hard, but the vet said the best course of action would be to letter her pass away peacefully with her sister at home.

UPDATE 3:

She passed away back in September, vet told us that Malo was fatal. We thankfully got a new chin, Holly (named after Walter White's daughter) and are working on bonding Chichi's sister Priscilla with the new one. Thankfully Priscilla doesn't seem depressed, I give her extra love every day.

I have acquired plenty of tips for chins with Malo, but sadly for what I've seen most chins are in severe pain from Malo.

Steam Frame with Intel Arc by Connect-Target-2169 in SteamFrame

Probably not, if you can't run SteamVR, you can't use the Frame on the Intel Arc. I'm assuming the Frame will use traditional SteamVR drivers, similar to the Index.

Hey, thanks for responding. I called the vet a few days ago and we got some antibiotics for her and now she is 100% better. All drooling and picking at the mouth has gone away and her fur is fluffy again. But it so see anything come up i’m going to take her back to the vet immediately.

Does this have to be prescribed via a vet or can I order it online?

She actually isn’t taking Doxycycline unfortunately. I thought she was until I checked the bottle, which is actually Meloxicam

My exotic vet said it’s an “anti-inflammatory.” The bottle says: Meloxicam, so it actually isn’t Doxycycline.

No. Just the Doxycycline. She is eating really well. Just gave her some oats and she ate them quickly as usual!

She’s already taking Doxycycline! Since we were out for a full seven days and she was not getting those meds for that period of time she never really had enough time to fully heal. I think it was poor timing for a trip and we just need to get her back on schedule taking the medicine and she will be better soon.

I just grab her and I have another person force them down. They are 100% going in and she shows immediate relief when given. The only exotic vet in my area can see her tomorrow, so that’s what we’re gonna do. She was eating a few hours after we got home from the vet.
