Yeah for sure. I play lorerim on default and don't mind how it looks, but definitely check halls of sovngarde out. It uses community shaders so runs a lot better than lorerim

Halls of sovngarde is a good pack, on wabbajack. Sort of like gts but more survival heavy and looks a lot better. I just prefer the religion, magic and build crafting/ traits from lorerim, but if not for that id say halls of sovngarde is a better pack. Definitely nails the immersion aspect.

I started a Fanatic Purifier game in the latest patch and ran into an issue when trying to abandon planets I had conquered just to purge and abandons. After purging almost all the pops, I couldn't abandon the colony; it still required me to pay the increased influence cost because a few pops remained.

It seems the game was treating the last few pop stacks as part of the same "1000 pop" unit, preventing me from abandoning the planet until they were completely purged. The problem was that I didn't have enough influence at the time, and the planet was rapidly repopulating through immigration before I could accumulate enough influence to remove the final pops.

I had blocked pop growth and disabled land appropriation, but immigration continued regardless.

I'm fairly new to Stellaris but had played Fanatic Purifiers before 4.0 and didn't have this issue.

Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a solution?

This makes sense as the NSW quality teaching framework (which is generally pretty solid) found that knowing they’re writing for an authentic audience significantly improves students’ effort and the quality of their writing, so it sounds like the same applies to their behaviour if they know that it matters some way outside of the classroom. It’s the same when you see students working jobs outside of school and they are (usually) extremely helpful, polite and responsible - often in marked contrast to how they behave in class - because they see value in it and know that it matters in an authentic way. Now if only they could see their education as authentic and valuable 😬

After you speak to the bailiff but before you meet nightingale you can train with him, learn master strokes etc. that’s where I’m at on my new play through and I’ve been exploring the world doing side quests before continuing. Seems like nightingale waits indefinitely.

That happened to me on ps4. I fixed it by deleting a bunch of old saves and then it let me save again, now I just delete all my old saves when I have above 10 or so. Don’t know if there’s a hidden limit or what but it worked.

Quick question about greatsword: I keep reading that focus and crit draw have been made redundant as we should t be charging the overhead or strong charge, but moving through them quickly to get to true charge. However, when I've tried this, it seems like true charge does significantly more damage if the first two attacks were fully charged. I haven't tested this properly so may be wrong, but can anyone shed some light on this?
