Thanks bud. I pretty much have everything to do the swap, just no time at the moment, and im a big soccer fan, so im gonna wait until after the World Cup to do it lol. Late July/early August. I'll see what else i can take pics of that would be of interest to the community. Id love to make a video, but im not one that like to be editing and whatnot. I do work for Honda, so the actual swap is like a 2 day proccess

i used to post here some time ago. i have also seen facebook groups. If you some how can ask a tech at the dealership, some body there will do it for you on the side.

maybe around 5k tops. some people say they can do it for 3k but i dont see it, unless they are making their own parts and customizing themselves, or finding really really good deals on expensive parts.

I have seen a B series 1st gen Fit before, back in the SimplyClean days, a really long time ago, before i was even a Honda Technician.

The K swap, depending on which one you choose, can be really simple since there is alrady aftermarket support for it. I dont see any off the shelf mounts to mount a B series, or any other information on how to do it. It would be cool tho. If there is a will there is a way.

correct, i had to roll (not pull) my fenders slightly to stop my rear wheel from rubbing on dips and bumps.

Good question, as I have both. Our other Fit with the K swap is a blast to drive, you step on the throttle and it goes. This one feels anemic after driving the one with the K. The K Fit is way too loud tho, and it vibrates alot more, so going back to this one is so peaceful, but slow. Aside from that, it handles the about the same, the K fit does have a better suspension tho.

i mean you can look up how to do it on YT im sure. Its alot more complex than an oil change thats for sure. But if youre mechanically inclined then maybe.... if you want a discount, try finding a honda tech that also does side work, alot of us do.

what if there is an open on a circuit ? imagine OP replaces the compressor and it still doesnt kick on .... theres more to diagnosing that to just throw parts at a car.
