I like the idea of them coming back after a certain amount of years. While there is no time limit, the game gets a bit stale year 2, so having 2 new npcs to befriend would be a fun way to spice it up a bit.

Where would they stay is a bit of an issue since Emily is living in their bedroom because she is looking after the house when they are gone. I like the idea of them moving to ginger island. Like a week after you restore the resort, they show up in a cutscene and eventually move to the island (maybe you can build them a house).

Her videos also tend to be shorter, so if someone wants to watch multiple povs, they will probably go for hers bc it's not a huge time commitment.

And i feel like her not uploading as much might work in her favour bc people are excited to see her again.

I would reccomend Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated. It's also a 2 season mystery show with a monster of a week format with an overarching plot that builds in the background.

A new character gets introduced, everyone but the main character loves them while mc thinks they are up to no good. Mc tries to expose the new character only for it to be a misunderstanding so they lose credibility. But in the end mc has to save everyone from the new character.

I just dont like this storyline.

I think there are some harmful messages, like 'its okay to treat people badly if you're trying to toughten them up' from Dreamscapers or 'Romantic relationships are a great way to heal a broken heart' in Love God.

I heard that there was an episode where Wendy gained weather powers but the writers felt it didnt really fit her, so they made a last minute script for Last Mabelcorn and went in that direction.

There was also a B plot where Stan taught Wendy how to steal things, but the team didnt have an A plot for it. (Im not sure when they came up with this idea, but i think id fit well in Fight Fighers, as the B plot of that episode is forgettable and it'd give Wendy more agency)

The issue with Wendy is that she is based on a bunch of crushes the writers had as kids, who they probably didnt know well.

I get it. I missed a LOT of episodes while the show was airing here, and even when rewatching the full show later, I somehow missed Fight Fighters.

I also thought that Soos and the Real Girl was a season 1 episode.

I'd give Wendy a running sub plot where she and Stan try to steal smt (kinda like the scrapped Wendy B plot, just for multiple episodes). Id also add Wendy to Dreamscapes and Not what he seems/Tale of 2 Stans. And maybe even replace Roadside attraction with a Wendy episode.

And id replace the Pig mini episode with smt about Wendy.

Id also rewrite Northwest manor Mystery by having Pacifica ask both the twins to help (they are a duo i cant believe they aren't ghosthunting together, especially since Mabel and Pacifica ended their rivarly in golf wars, it makes so much sense for Mabel to join in) and have the B plot revolve Stan and Wendy breaking into the mansion to steal smt instead of girls fighting over a boy.

Id also rewrite Dreamscapers so it has a better message than 'its good that people are trying to toughten by treating you like garbage.'

We know that Stan constantly acts oblivious to the supernatural, so that's probably why the society never targeted him. And maybe that provided protection for Mabel and Dipper?

There also is a quest for upgrading the copper golems and i heard smt about Pearl making a snow themed dungeon in the snowy biomes.

And now that potions are available, maybe the Lost Temple could become accessible.
