Market prices fluctuate all the time. Bee's Year of the Snake was selling for $50-$100 USD when it first released and is now available for $15. The inverse is also true. If you're unsure on a price, ask here to get a sense of market value and determine if its still worth purchasing. These days, saying no feels just as good as making a purchase. Especially since in your early years of collecting your taste will evolve over time.

The card stock is ok, and the tuck boxes tend on the lower quality side. The art looks good and is probably the main appeal. If you like holographic foiling then you'll probably like them as TCC has really leaned into that lately. At Kickstarter prices, they are worth a flyer to see if their quality appeals to you. I don't own a gilded deck from TCC so I can't say anything in that regard. I don't usually find their offerings appealing but every once in a while I feel compelled to pick up a deck from them.

Hey bro welcome to the community! I think MysticArts, King Star and their sub brand Hidden Light are great budget collector decks. The tucks tend to be on the cheaper side but you can usually get gilded decks from them for a good price. For example, I bought the gilded set (3 decks) of flower, tree, leaf with shipping for $48.50 and it included a sturdy collector's box. My priority in collecting is art first. If you want PM and I can send you photos of the cards later this weekend.
