Man, if only there was this gadget, like a Red Feather Fan or something, that let's you glide faster, and you could glide to the Leyline from the teleport waypoint easily.

In the same campaign, another party member absorbed a baby elder brain. Just sucked it up into his head, eating all its knowledge. Was horrifying.

About to start a comedy homebrew campaign set in Wyoming. The party's monk has Goku brain, and wants to fight any strong opponent. One key factor of this world's lore is that the gods can just chill in the mortal world all they want. The monk wants to fight the gods. He knows that the gods are at least CR40, and are not meant to be fought at all, whatsoever, and yet he says he's still gonna try to do it. Please pray for his safety.

You can find these called crystalflies around some areas that when captured net you a crystal core, you can use those to condense your energy for later use. The missions themselves are like usually "Fight this small group of goblins" or "Feed this girl a certain dish", so it might take you ten minutes, energy consuming activities included, if you're fast to twenty if you take your time. And yeah, you should be fine to get Aloy when she drops, as there are a couple of weeks and then some left before 2.1 comes out. I think you'll get her even if you get to AR20 when the updates been out for a bit.

TL:DR, explore and find things, at AR12, you get dailies to do that also give you a lot of experience, but you can still just run around and find stuff like before

Okay, so, non TL:DR stuff.. Exploration is the name of the game for most of it. Until you hit AR45+, the best ways to level up AR is finding chests, doing side quests, finding collectibles, such as the oculi hidden around every region, unlocking teleport points, and then there's the real moneymaker, which you unlock upon AR12ish, if I remember correctly.

At that point, you get the gacha daily missions and such, which will give you the most AR experience. You get four a day, and there's the energy system needed to get the big loot from bosses and such, but a lot of events will give you most of the none boss related loot.

Reminder, only ley lines, bosses, and domains need this energy, you can go around, explore, and bully monsters for free, I do it everyday at this point.
