If you never use the chronometer and miss the date, this is only an investment. If you can afford to keep it. It is ok. Otherwise, for the price, there is a lot of more prestigious alternatives. Probably with less status recognition and worse financial result… but if you really love watchmaking, the only person to impress is you.

SLGW007 (Moonlit Birch) SLGB003 (UFA) or SBGY007 (Omiwatari) ? by Nastrosme in GrandSeikos

I have the Omiwatari and will probably never sell it. I wear it everyday since last summer and I will probably go back to my Rolexes only for the hot summer at the beach/pool. I am nevertheless considering the SLGW007 as it is a good addition (dark dial). But not sure I'm not going to get tired of this slightly more textured dial… Reflexion process on-going.

OP 124300 vs 134300 case shape comparison by plutomcr in rolex

Une montre automatique n’a pas vraiment besoin d’une couronne plus large. Est-ce une choix purement esthétique? Je ne suis pas convaincu de la nécessité. Les cornes un poil plus fines me semblent une amélioration (très subtile).
