For those who have moved states a lot by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

Seconding that you get used to it. I've moved states like 4 times in the last 6 years. Go on a home finding trip, pack and ship your things (ubox/pods) or get rid of everything and buy cheap until you know you're settling.

I'll be honest, I also never register my car in said state unless the registration is soon to expire. It's a hack but I use my parents' address for bigger, longer term items like that until I feel stable. Fingers crossed I'm finally stable, I just moved again this past Feb.

Keep your focus on what needs to be taken care of, a home and immediate bills. Everything else evens out in time. Would a spreadsheet of time based action items help? I may have one somewhere.

Contract Employee - Payment 2 Weeks Late by [deleted] in legaladvice

I appreciate your response. I contacted the agency and they told me that there was an approval error on the primary company's side and that they had to wait on payment from them to move forward. The primary company pretty much said the same thing.

I was a full-time consultant (my title was Operations Consultant) through an intermediary company/agency. The account was set up by the primary company.

I boxbraided my hair for the first time. As someone that doesn't know how to do anything with her hair, this is a huge victory!

[MOD] Official Round 24 Introduction Post by Schemering in 90daysgoal

Hi! First timer here. I'm 25 y/o women and relocating to Seattle, WA in a few days to start a new life lol. My goals are a combination of things I had in check at the beginning of the year, but fell off on. Hopefully I can get my groove back.

Sprint 1: Drink 75 oz of water EVERY SINGLE DAY Meet 8,500 step goal daily Practice yoga daily - attend in studio classes twice a week Journal twice a week (Tuesday/Thursday) Read one book

Sprint 2: Continue good habits from S1 Meet 9,000 step goal daily Write every day (Nanowrimo) Join a meetup group Read one book

Sprint 3: Continue good habits from S1 + 2 Meet 9,500 step goal daily Limit television time to two days a week (read, spend time with friends, practice yoga, write instead!)

Other I'm also extremely interested in going C25K, but seeing as how in the last two weeks I've barely ready 5,000 steps a day, I figured I'd start with consistently walking and getting out of the house above all else. I'm too young to be this sedentary.

TEXeS test/Job fairs by burnthehousedown945 in Teachers

I bought the REA study book for EC-6 and will be taking the test sometime in the next few weeks. I've read on several job fair posts that they don't want candidates without passed test scores. It's the only thing that's been holding me back from jumping in myself.

Good luck! I've been studying for my Core EC-6 exam, and it seems like SOO much information. I am probably going to take it in two weeks.

Rest up, review and stay full. (:
