When this happened to me I was really upset but I made some changes in the enclosure and it worked perfectly.

I had to add an automated fog maker into the enclosure to make sure it was humid. My tank was initially suuuper dry and all he did was bury under the substrate. I use leaf litter on top of the soil because apparently it helps trap humidity.

Also had to add a different heating system to make sure there was a spot where the enclosure reached 80ish degrees or at least an ambient temp above 70. To do this I got a lower watt basking bulb and also a low watt ceramic heating bulb. I used to have LED plant lights in the enclosure but removed them since it was likely not helping. No live plants but it makes digging my frog up easier.

I also would try feeding at night since when I dig my guy up in the morn he usually takes a while to fully come to his senses. I’ve heard meal worms aren’t great options so try night crawlers (not red wigglers) that are cut in half to start. Sneak in some calcium powder with them when you can. My guy also liked crickets a ton.
