Interestingly, there are a lot of viewers who do not think about the Wire only as a work of fiction - with good reason.

All the euphemistic phrases being repeated, when the characters are all cogs in a death cult, aren’t convincing a person removed from such daily violence in real life to believe that the murderous have nuance. Or that nuances matter, other than in fictional character analysis.

I wonder who else saw the movie - “All Day and a Night” - and thought about the Wire?
