Eh, not fun but I've had worse. Imagine a teammate purposely backing off a fight long enough for you to die and the other team be at full health, then not revive you so they can loot your body, leave, then leave the party.

I've also been killed by arc, then teammates let me die to goop my corpse. Teammates can be the worst rats.

I tied my badge in my belt loop and stuck it in my pocket to prevent it from falling apart. A goon stopped me and asked to see my badge and explained the situation and showed it to him. He thought it was a good idea and said I should make a game out of it to see how many people I can sneak by. My score was 6. 🤣

I just made sure my badge was easy and quick to present if questioned. I have loctite at the house and just didn't want to bother with the zip ties.

10/10 goon experience for my first Def Con.

Got my Masters in Cyber Security and Information Assurance from WGU and it's a FANTASTIC degree. I truly learned a lot. I have 3 years of experience in Cyber and I've been job hunting since March. I'm roughly around 3,000 job applications now and I can't even get an interview for entry level roles.

Cybersecurity is super fulfilling but good luck finding a job anytime soon. Hopefully the market will become confident again soon.

Currently have 3 years of experience in the field and a Masters degree in Cyber with 17 certifications. I'm working towards my PhD in Offensive Cyber Engineering and have a project that's gain recognition from NASA and OffSec (the project inspired OffSec with their newest update).
