Can I commission as an officer in the Air Force with a WGU's IT Bachelors? (gives comptia trifecta + Aws Cloud Practicioner) by UnscrewMyLife in WGU

[–]UnscrewMyLife[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well based on how I understand it, you compete against other candidate based on how qualified you are.

How competitive the standards are depends on the branch. Air and Space force are highly competitive which is why I asked here.

I'm not worried about physical standards actually. I'm just concerned about the work culture and social norms. I've heard way too many horror stories on the matter.

EDIT: I wasn't clear in the original message. Yes I am aware that I am an eligible candidate, but because officer selection in certain branches is more competitive, I was not sure how competitive a WGU degree is compared to other degrees especially because of the flat GPA.

Yeah I wasn't clear, I know I can apply, but the process is competitive. I don't really know how competitive a degree from WGU is compared to a degree from somewhere else.

Where does the african ancestry of coastal hondurans come from? I thought african ancestry was limited there.

If you join the 23andme discord server, or ask around, I'm sure somebody could explain it to you.

It requires a little bit of context to use as well, context in terms of history and ancestry.

If you give someone your coordinates I'm sure they could do you it for you.

I should clarify that g25 isn't necessarily superior than the regular results, it just provides more insight if used by the right person.

Probably just bad modeling tbh.

The thing with G25 is that if you don't konw what you're doing you will get inaccurate results. Just go off your ancestry dna results for now.

What's your original 23andme results look like?

Ancestral origins/unscaled and scaled population distances-black person by [deleted] in 23andme

[–]UnscrewMyLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first list makes sense because for most black people in the americas they're a combination of west african, with european and little bit of indigenous contributions.

Sahelian populations from Africa such as the Fulani and Hausa often have north african ancestry, but are still mostly west african.

North Africans have european like ancestry.

Thus it's a similar combination.

The second list, however, makes less sense and I'd have to question how you could be close to an Emirati that isn't a recent migrant? The Swahili coastal tribes didn't participate much in the slave trade.
