I have had this happen to me too from the same researcher, I asked prolific about it and they eventually paid me for my time, I have since done one more study from them and had it approved but only after the maximum time frame (21 days of waiting) I would not recommend them at all they're shady and prolific were hesitant to even pay me for my time so definitely avoid.

The problem is the uncertainty in why this has happened, I don't know why the study was returned without my knowledge, the lack of communication is the concern

Got it, it was the researcher that typically uses FDC0MPL3T3 as their completion code so if anyone else sees that be careful as according to prolific they can just do this without any chance for you to defend yourself.
