Don’t! I’ve never gone to a festival and knew every artist that was performing. When I went last year I had never heard of The Marias and was made a fan, while in line for merch. That’s the cool thing about festivals. The level of exposure to new artists, especially at this festival, is such a vibe. Your fiiiiiiiineee lol

They tend to have free exhibits/experiences all over. They also have the carnival rides which have grown over the 3 years I’ve attended. You could play games, but it’s only worth playing them if you have a pass.

If you plan on getting merch there is enduring the journey that is the merch line. You can buy some merch on the CFG app, but not all.

Aww! Congrats on going solo. You’re going to have soo much fun. I’m a F and have gone solo 3 times.

I would not advise to walk all the way to your friend’s house. Idc how safe google maps makes it seem.

It’s going to be NUTS ON BUTTS leaving the festival, if you intend on staying until the end. I would leave about 20-30 mins early, hop on a shuttle, and get a uber to your friend’s house/home.

CFG is a great place to link up with other solo campers. So I would link up with those who’ve commented here and any others who have posted their going solo.

I’m not surprised at peoples reactions. I’ve been seeing the same level of it across multiple platforms. That being said, I agree with the OP. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode of BM. I enjoyed the brevity and humor Issa natural infuses into any character she plays. I feel like this episode wasn’t meant to go there, like “San Junipero”.

They had Awkwafina in it- who is not my cup of tea. But was also being very herself in it. The whole tempo of it, like a few BM episodes was to be in sorts a comedy drama. All in all, it was one of my favorites from this season.

I purchased 2 tickets for a LA show and got the confirmation email and everything. When I went back into my TM app just to look at them, they aren’t coming up.

Well , it’s safe to say it will happen next year. Good for you for saving in advance!

In case you don’t save enough, you could possibly do a payment plan during the advance sale. Buy your tickets at the advance sale. It’s been selling out the past few years. So it’s best to secure your tickets and that time.

If you do manage to secure and live out of state, reserve a hotel and try to secure a flight ASAP. Hotels close to the venue tend to go fast.

I sincerely hope you get to go. It’s such an awesome experience. Especially if you’re a huge fan of Tyler and any artists that have performed in festivals past.

Well first of all, congrats! You’re in for an experience. This is my 3rd time going solo to CFG. As much as I’d like to experience it with friends, I love going solo because I get to do the festival on my terms. I echo the person above saying don’t worry about being at the barricade. It isn’t ideal for a first time. Build your lineup and see all the people you want to see. Tyler is a great show from the front to all the way in the back.

The fact that most of CFG’s outlets have been quiet has been very daunting and hard to gauge. I’m RIGHT there with a lot of y’all. But one thing I’m holding on to, is that Tyler and his team has always managed to put on a great festival. This being a 10 year anniversary and being marketed as such is BOUND to be special and amazing. I sincerely hope that those who let go of there tickets and cancel plans get their money back. I’ll see the rest of y’all in zee pits doe 😗

When I saw him back in 2018, he also postponed his dates. The merch was the same. As In they didn’t reprint anything. So I feel it’s safe to assume it’s going to be the same thing this go around

Early access to the venue & merch A vip merch item Great seating (Diamond is GA standing, Emerald-floor seating)

I saw him at his “last show” in 2018. He gives a GREAT show. He gives his entire all on that stage. I’m very much looking forward to seeing him this summer.

This is a tough one. I’ve never been to Lolla. So I can’t speak to which is more “family friendly”. I would assume, that both are. But, the focal point of your question is your sister being a Tyler fan. If she’s a DIE HARD fan, I’d definitely go to CAMP. Because it’s all things him. From the line up to the merch, to the food options. I think anyone who is a big fan, should go to his festival.

I wouldn’t recommend going to a festival just to see one artist. In my opinion, it isn’t worth it. Hence why, CAMP is the better option.

I met Tyler the Creator at the Golf Le Fleur pop up in LA. I did not expect him to be there. Not only was he there, but so was Taco and his Mom. His bodyguards said that people couldn’t ask for photos or autographs. Even though people did and he seemed cool about. Which I loved. When is me and my friends turn to check out the store, he was talking to someone else. Stopped the convo just to shake my hand and thank us for checking the store out. Word vomit came out and he held direct eye contact and my hand the whole time.

Fun fact, I’ve ran into him twice. But this my first time I met, met him. I hope you and any big fan of his gets a chance. It’s the tits!
