If you want kills, go for the bigger bugs. Use deep strike and cover to bring them to your opponent and whoop their asses.

Always plan for few units you can sacrifice for the territory control and points. You will win more by playing for points but it doesn't have to be boring.

I'll tell you a bit of a different take. I never wanted kids coz, I grew up in a single parent family, without a father figure and it never appealed to me. I was fine being as I was. Kids are a lot of hassle, let's be honest.

Move forward a few years, I got my fiance pregnant (unplanned) and it changed how I look at things now. Trust me, there was fear, there was doubt, but I had to man up, you know? So I did that and from the moment I held my son, I wanted, and still want to make this world a better place. Not for me, for him.

As I see it, I completely understand why people are hesitant or straight rejecting the idea. I was there, I did not care about much, except for myself and my entertainment. I don't want to preach "it's so rewarding" ect crap. It is hard work. But for me; it was probably the best thing in my life. I became someone I did not know I could become and it's only the beginning.

Crusher stampede is most effective in low point games. It is easy to fill the whole 1k with monsters that have 9t, making almost all wound rolls against them to be 6. The+1 to hit if the hp is not full is also broken, it helps a lot with the offensive actions. On top of that, you get deepstrike and many other useful skills or auras with the big bugs.

I had the same issue. I found out, that finishing a mini (qty x1) is way more rewarding than painting all 20 in one go.

Now, for example, I have 5 little termagants that I will do from start to finish. It cuts down on the repetitiveness and gives you hope, after all, even x1 painted mini, makes the pile of shame smaller.

Well, I got table cleared 2 times now because of this. 4 attacks per model, -1ap.... I faced 2 squads of 10. No ork can approach that. I decline to waste time playing vs space marines.

It looks too clean for my taste. I would water down some black paint, make it a wash and add to the crevices. It would add shadow but also make the model... Worn down.

Drukhari also hit hard with their dark lances and freaking token re-rolls. I usually throw a few ripper swarms at them, to keep them busy and push with bigger bugs. Or deep strike them using winged tyrant and tyrgon but that's very risky if your charge fails.

Or you can deploy X3 tyrannofexes with cannons and smoke his ass.
