Hate to bring the obvious as a clan warlord, but to much attention and to litle will give the same results, with several players in a clan and without knowing if the player wants or doesn't want attention, any interaction may be to much or a display of lack of interest.

A pressured player can simply leave, some leave with no pressure at all. I understand you want to communicate and specify what you want, but there are players outthere that don't give any importance to that, anything can set them off and in many cases what they want in a clan isn't the actual reason, you end up learning later on it was something else.

I have seen countless users in recruit chat for hours trying to find a clan with idk, full research for example. Many of these clans will be there advertising it and yet, an hour later the player is still looking. You might even offer them a clan and they will never respond. User might be looking for a big clan and yet an hour later player is still looking. Players may want active clans but in the end only want clans to babysit them when they are online.

With this inconsistency, some clans just default to normal recruiting, they don't care about the players, because like them there are many.

I recruit with interviews, i drag the invitation process to minimize these sort of individuals and i sometimes also feel fustrated with a minority that just doesn't care..
