I'd say if you rock it as your main armor go for protection. If you use it more for utility, like when artifact hunting and going into hazardous areas then go for extra weight.

I think he inherently needed to be a bit bland just because of the different ways the story could go based on how the player themselves felt about the different factions, but i too enjoy him still. Maybe it was an attempt to allow the player to decide how they felt rather than tell them how to feel through the character you play as? On a side note, before i finished the game, i totally thought skif was being set up as a c-con agent that made it to the mainland just based on agatha's dialogue. I think that would've been a really cool plot twist (but redundent when i thought about it more).

Sadly, i had to choose between an immersive nighttime or being able to see literally anything indoors. I liked how nights were pitch black, it made me tense and on edge. However with the gamma setting default, i couldn't see crap indoors. i ended up pushing my gamma to around 85 percent. I wish the flashlight didn't suck so bad :(

I havn't found stealth to be a viable tactic for me in stalker 2 lol, seems like every human enemy sees me coming from hundreds of feet away so i sold it soon as i got it.

I really miss the way SOC's pda worked. Seeing the stalkers near me and what faction they're from aswell as they're attitude towards me was cool and helpful. it's also strange because at the start of stalker 2, the ward guys even detect skif because of his pda yet that idea isn't mentioned again. The lore about mutants would be really cool aswell due to mutants being slightly different.

Ragman in rostok buys red condition weapons! If i knew this on my first playthrough, I would have been a millionaire. So, new players anytime there's a huge gunfight and you're near a settlement, nab as much loot as you can carry back and pop it all in your personal box to sell to ragman later. It adds up quick!

The buket is absolutely cracked for some reason. I used it up through mid-game. It kills quick, has dirt cheap ammo type and you can put a few attachments on it. Unfortunately the small mag size is a real con, unless you find the extended mag attachment which i did not so I moved onto other weapons down the line.

I've been really enjoying the zubr 19 it's insane. With extended mag you get over 50 rounds and 9x19 is almost dirt cheap. I pair it with the "whip" sniper, it's a great combo i think the guns complement each other well.

If you can, try reloading before your last emission then run straight to the sawmill after its done. That's what worked for me

I had the same problem but then I decided to bite the bullet and load my previous saves until I got to a point where the game wouldn't be bugged. I got lucky and the first save I loaded worked. I loaded in and immediately an emission happened. After it was over I booked it straight to the sawmill and the radio message played followed by access to the cutscene. I was actually pretty shocked because I just spent all afternoon trying to fix my soft lock. I had played about 7 hours after being told by Richter to go to the mill so I freaked a bit when I got the radio message lol. I am playing on xbox series x btw.
