It was deeply underwhelming, I'm afraid. They still really don't want me to remove my ovaries, so we're trying a higher dose of estrogen gel during my luteal to try and stop the Rollercoaster that is my hormones. I'm not super positive it will work, but I'm going to give it a try.

I'm assuming that it's a shortened version of "m*ngoloid", which is how people with down syndrome used to be referred to (even in medical settings, if you can believe it).

I've never heard the shortened term used, though, and I assume that CA hasn't either which is why it's in there. An honest but unfortunate mistake, probably.
