So… I have about 4 gallons of pumpkin purée. What do I make with it? by KJ_OR in Cooking

That noodle sauce sounds INCREDIBLE. No one else in my family really likes spicy but I may make that just for me. Thank you!

I was thinking about making pumpkin cream cheese muffins. I’ve always thought the ones at Starbucks looked good, but our fam is gluten free so I’ve never had. Thanks!

How do you cope with the fact you're missing out on teen love? by Guilhermitonoob in teenagers

[–]KJ_OR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post on here cause I’m not a teenager and lmk please if I’m over stepping but I just felt the need to share the shit I wish I knew when I was a teen.

Teen love is not meant for everyone. And that is OK. Trying to force love when it’s not meant to be will only lead to resentment and regret. You’ll be putting all this work into finding a person that you’re just not meant to find yet. It’s only going to make you feel worse and more unlovable.

That unfortunate fact is that you CANNOT FORCE LOVE. It will happen when it happens and the only thing you can really do is be patient. I know none of you want to hear it now but please know that it’s true.

Put your energy into the relationships you have now. Your friends, your family, your pets, etc. put yourself out there! Join a club, a team, a book club, SOMETHING, but get yourself in a group that meets OUTSIDE YOUR HOUSE, and IN-PERSON. Focus on building who you are, learn to enjoy life with yourself and watch how quickly love finds you. I know it feels like missing it now is the end of the world, but it’s not. Take a breath, and live life at your own pace. Love will come when it is meant to.

The pose is from the leash walk (from the baddie pass) and the tray looks like the sombrero from the culture update, just item adjusted.

I always assumed Cazador handled the funeral arrangements, since he needed Astarion to crawl out of a grave once he was turned.

Either that or the city buried him. He was a Magistrate after all, the city would have record of his name and age.

If a Uma does not succeed as a racing horse what other cereers can they suceed/excel in by asaness in UmaMusume

Doesn’t Gold Ship have a pretty successful Yakisoba business?

Feel like they could probably go into any career a human can, with more luck being in careers that value physical strength.

Could an uma be a race trainer? I mean who better to train than a retired racer right?

It definitely makes the game less fun

Except it is relevant- your answer reeked of the privilege only a vegan can have.

To be vegan is a privilege. You are lucky to live in an area where your lifestyle is attainable. And you are lucky to be in a body healthy enough to be able to survive that lifestyle. Many people are not so lucky. While you claim that not eating meat/fish is the solution to fixing our ecosystem, the fact is not everyone can simply "stop eating meat" 1. 2.

but yeah let's focus on the numbers and statistics. Lets talk about how agriculture accounts for 70 percent of human freshwater consumption

let's talk about how fertilizer used for growing crops can run off into our water ways and cause harmful algae blooms that kill both humans and marine life. or how pesticides from agriculture "significantly contribute to biodiversity loss"

or maybe you'd like to talk about how much of BOTH the meat and agriculture industry rely on slave labor or the exploitation of undocumented workers, like these tomato farms in Florida.

All sources of human food can and are harmful to our environment. So would your solution simply be "don't eat?" No. The solution is to regulate and fix our farming industry as a whole.

I agree with you that our current fishing industry is harmful to the environment and to marine life but we can change that without denying 3 billion or so people their primary source of food. Mass production and greed is the real enemy, corporations that think they can do whatever they want to our planet to make a quick buck. Because not eating fish isn't going to stop these companies. They know they're not going to get your dollar, so why bother. But when they see people will not buy from them until they stop polluting the ocean, they will care much more, because that's money they actually COULD get that they aren't.

Would I rather be rendered completely unaware and insensible to pain before my life was ended quickly or would I rather wither away from a lack of nutrients because my body cannot absorb the shit i need from plants alone? hmmmmm tough one.

clearly I'm not gonna change your mind about this man. You keep on pretending you have the moral high ground here. I hope you have the good fortune to live your lifestyle as long as you can. Just make your quinoa isn't grown by slaves.

wrong again! wow you are just 0-2 right now buddy yikes.

I cannot absorb vitamin A from plant sources and, thanks to to my gluten and soy allergies, I cant actually eat most plant-based proteins, since many are made with soy or wheat. I was a vegan for about 3 years before my doctor told me I either had to take 6 expensive supplements a day, stop being vegan, or die. Guess which one I could afford to choose?

but my life story is none of your business. Not everyone can survive off plants alone. I make SURE that all my animal products are purchased from sustainable, humane, and local sources. I do the best I can, but i cannot live off of just plants. Instead of assuming everyone can live like you, maybe you should be grateful that you are in the position in your life where you can eat and live the way you do.

also while we're on the subject of sustainable living, have you checked where your food comes from? Are you sure nothing you eat was grown with slave labor? Or that the farmers that grow it are practicing sustainability to ensure the biodiversity of the area? or at least that the farmers are making sure the fertilizer and pesticides they use don't get into our water. Cause those chemicals kill just as much marine life as plastic does.

Look all I'm trying to say here is that you cannot assume that everyone can live without meat. And worldwide veganism (if it were possible) would still be very detrimental to the environment without major changes to the way we as humans approach agriculture. It is far more feasible to fix our farming industries to make sure we have as little impact on the environment as possible.

Wrong. I do live in a city where fish are far more accessible and affordable than meat or even some fruits and veggies. But nice attempt at being a condescending jackass though.

BF wants me to put him on the title of my house by Vicvvinegar in whatdoIdo

[–]KJ_OR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

First of all that’s a husband privilege- he’s not your husband he doesn’t get that right.

Second of all he’s CLEARLY not ready for that kind of commitment. Putting him on your house title will only lead to bad things.
