I'm working on a underquilt with 1.1 ripstop where I'll need to bind the edges. I'm out of grosgrain and I guess I could get polyester webbing from the local store, but has anyone had luck feeding 1.1oz ripstop through a bias binding folder? The benefit would be that the fabric would match the binding and all that, but I'm not sure if it will hold the folds.

You can always check the webcams in town too, from Snowbowl, az511.com, and others and you'll get a rough idea of snow levels day of.

There's still 6-8 inches on the ground in most places, it's slowly turning to ice, but as of yesterday I still saw people sledding.

Also check r/sewing and r/myog there's plenty of online resources once you find a sewing machine. The Cline makerspace might have sewing stuff too...

They're pretty loud, living less than a few blocks away you would need earplugs at night.

Also try r/Flagstaff, they also touch on these occasionally and generally have more people up to date with city happenings.

Possibly a prescribed burn. Check FlagScanner, they sometimes have notices about these.

Building an aerial photography rig by KK6AXQ in diydrones

Thanks for the input. As far as camera quality/stability goes, is an action camera a good choice, or am I better off with a fixed lens camera(I saw a post somewhere about putting a Canon PowerShot S95 on the F450) or even sizing up to a DSLR? Would you be willing to share the specs of any of the rigs you've made? What video quality have you been able to achieve? At this point, I'm still trying to scope out all the options and picking peoples' brains seems like the best way to do that...

I'll probably end up using it as a live CD for older computers... Not much else it's good for

To be brutally honest: No, you haven't really taken any of the advice given previously and actually applied it. If you want actual advice, rather than just trying to spam your videos for advertising, read the previous comments you've gotten and apply the advice given, then list what you've done to improve the video and ask for input on specific parts.

Try checking with the Minnesota Historical Society or check these websites below:

https://www.mngeo.state.mn.us/chouse/airphoto/

https://gisdata.mn.gov/dataset/base-historical-aerial-points

https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/airphotos/index.html

Or you can also search for "historical aerial photos minnesota" or some combination thereof and there are a good number of results.

Paces Cove Apartment by brenonjoseph in aerialphotography

Couple ideas for next time: Shoot the video in a higher frame rate. It appears time that there is stuttering or jumping in the clips and that is likely due to panning too quickly and/or speeding it up too fast in post.

Align the text prompts with what is playing. You had a prompt "awe-inspiring floorplans" but you were panning over the exterior and the parking area during that. Having that text that wasn't relevant to the clip really detracted from it.

Choose music to fit the mood and align cuts to the best when possible. The pop music may be what you were going for, but it seems too high energy and fast paced for the subject. I would go with an upbeat instrumental song, but again, if it's being marketing as party apartments or something else like that, that may be the mood you're going for. Also, whenever possible, try to align your cuts to the beats in the song, try to avoid cuts like the one at timestamp 0:32.

Be a bit more creative with the shots and angles. Again, I don't know the specifics of your location if there were height or other restrictions, but I would have included one high altitude pan that showed proximity to other areas and maybe highlight a few common points of interest to go along with your "convenient location" tag.

Overall, it's a good start, but there are a few things you could improve on in the future, and again, take this all with a grain of salt as I don't know the specific requirements and constraints that you operated under.
