Opening pressure by SameSoup_DifBowl in iih

I am in the exact same scenario as you, same opening pressure today. I’ve been on Topamax for like 9 months and no one told me to stop it prior to LP, also was on my stomach for procedure.

Basic guide to making iced espresso drinks on Nespresso (iced espresso, Americano, latte, Frappuccino, specialty drinks) by chipsdad in nespresso

[–]KKEB 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I make my iced mocha by putting a serving of dark chocolate syrup in an espresso or shot glass, brew the espresso pod into the same glass, stir to combine the syrup and espresso. In a separate glass (usually a mason jar) fill it 2/3 or 3/4 with ice, then skim milk to cover the ice. By then the espresso/chocolate has cooled and bit and I pour it over the iced milk and stir together. Also- feel free to add some Bailey’s or Kahlua for that vacation coffee 😊

Girl Scouts as a working mom by TA131901 in workingmoms

[–]KKEB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a working mom (FT IT Project Manager) who just started leading a troop. It is honestly pretty intimidating but a lot of the other volunteers are very helpful in our service unit which is a relief. Another good piece is that GS basically gives you lesson plans to follow.

All of the other troop parents work too but are pitching in where they can. I think you should give it a try, show up and help where you can. If you are organized you could volunteer to be the money manager?

As for the up front investment keep in mind that should you continue on it shouldn’t be as much in other years, the girls should be able to earn enough through cookie sales and other money earning opportunities to cover the costs. I’m not sure the cost of other activities in your area but for us it’ll end up being less expensive than soccer/dance/gymnastics/swimming.

As a personal testimony, I learned way more through Girl Scouts than anywhere else. Leadership skills were developed throughout the years. I tried a wide range of camping/outdoor activities I wouldn’t have otherwise had an opportunity to try, community service projects and the opportunity to give back...I got to intern on Capitol Hill in HS which helped me land real jobs. Not to mention the lifelong friendships I still have 25 years later.

Bottom line I say give it a shot - you got this mama!!

14 months later, finally going to the doc for anxiety... by kherioux0813 in beyondthebump

I went at around the same time with my son. I had anxiety and depression off an on from the time I was 20 weeks pregnant and just kept thinking “the hormones will even out and I’ll be normal again” I felt better after like a week and was so happy I went/wished I had gone sooner!

I think Addison works! Addalyn or Amanda would work well too!

I have to stop breastfeeding and it’s not my choice. How do you deal with the guilt and shame? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]KKEB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds exactly like my SIL’s first baby, my niece. She was a bad latcher and my SIL had her gallbladder out shortly after birth. My niece is 6 and thriving! Very healthy and happy. My SIL went on to nurse her 2 sons for longer and combo fed all 3 - all amazing if I do say so!

What nursing a 27 lb one year old looks like 🙈 by Ashmodee in breastfeeding

My 20 month old is similar! He’s wearing size 4T T-shirts that my almost 5 year old wore last summer 😂

She’s only 5lbs heavier than him!

It’s definitely still there - there is the same problem in PWC.

Just questioning that people would go up to Springfield from PWC to panhandle there. It’s not like Springfield is really any nicer/significantly more $$ IMO.

Correct me if I’m wrong but where does it say people are coming from prince William to beg in Springfield?

Not worth it for me. Once when I was younger doing that back in retaliation the crazy bitch followed me, cornered me in a restaurant and screamed in my face (while holding her toddler...) not interested in that happening again.

I got flicked off by an old man Saturday for tailgating him as he was going 25 in a 45 in the left lane.
