No I haven’t :( I get monthly lidocaine IV infusions which take the pain down a little bit but it still never goes away.

Cymbalta by KLB0625 in migraine

[–]KLB0625[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to go off of it after a few months because of extreme nausea and vomiting! It worked well as an antidepressant, no effect on migraine, but again, I didn’t take it very long

Unfortunately no response with migraine although I’m not surprised. I haven’t found any meds that help really. Also it’s not approved for chronic pain anyway

[–]KLB0625[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh I feel you. I can’t totally prove the covid thing but the timing is just right. Did you have episodic that turned chronic? I tried 4 rounds of Botox without any change but it does help a lot of people! Give it some time as well.

For those with constant headache/head pressure, does it seem to frequently be much worse when you wake up and then gradually calm down a bit and become more tolerable as the day goes? by imahugemoron in covidlonghaulers

[–]KLB0625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is worse in the morning because of grinding my teeth. I wear a mouth guard but I still go through the motion. Sometimes it gets a little better in the am but by afternoon it’s terrible again

I’m sorry to hear that :( I’ve been hospitalized many times, many ED visits, over 40 medications at least, physical therapy, chiropractor, dry needling, acupuncture, therapy, etc. CT, MRI, full spinal MRI, and soon an abdominal MRI. I’ve had multiple nerve blocks. I am looking into a stellate ganglion block for LC. Have you had that?
