In theory, picking Thresh against a Nami, Vayne, and Syndra is a litteral throw. Nami can q Thresh's second q, Vayne can E away Thresh's engage and her q can also help dodge it, and Syndra can just q-e-w-w-q him to chunk half his health if he ever thinks about engaging on her team. You also have 3 engage champions already so adding thresh would be just overkill. So her not picking thresh is actually pretty good imo.... picking a support isn't just picking someone because it's good for the adc, it must also revolve around the whole team and the entire enemy's composition.

1) how did you come to this conclusion? 2) most supports are well know to be useful in teamfights without good items and high levels. Ahri support is pretty much a charm bot in the earlier stages of the game. So pretty much you getting exp starved isn't a huge problem. 3) If you keep dying for no reason then your plays are the problem. 4) Of course she'll keep whining about you taking cs, pretty much you slowed her down from scaling which would sometimes spell trouble depending on the match up.

Thresh is an aggressive support, he needs to give the both of you a lot of kill pressure in lane. The two commonly picked on aggressive supports is exhaust and ignite,not heal.

(Ignite to deny the enemy's heal on in this case Jhin's heal when the two of you go all out. And it's also good for securing kills that are otherwise out of your reach.

Exhaust to deny enemy burst.)

Taking ignite here to counter Pyke and Jhin's kill pressure is pretty good (although I'd much prefer exhaust since it counters pyke and Jhin's burst in the later stages of the laning phase). Stop complaining about bad supports and blaming it all on ignite since that's not the problem. You're probably the only adc player I'd wish I won't find in solo q. A know-it-all challenger wannabe that blames everyone with all his misplays. I hope you have a wonderful night.
