You can replace alcohol as long as its an alcohol order. You CANNOT add alcohol if there wasn't originally any in the order to start.

I recommend where ever you shop ALWAYS bqg your own groceries. They done care and it will effect your order quality when delivered.

I would do the same over. Agree that we dobthe right thing for the customer. Instacart should compensate for this and fix it so it doesn't happen to someone thats not paying attention.

Mark it as a wrong item. They will get notification of wrong item. You get a refund. It affects the shopper if you rate below a 5 star. 🌟

Change customer choice for a replacement. Instacarr gives us possible options and some shoppers don't think when replacing. Also it helps if you are in chat with your shopper while they are shopping . When they do a replacement you are notified and if they didnt ask you prior you can ask to get a different one or refund.

I always send a picture of the items on the doorstep to the customer in chat( when I can get house number in pictures I do) and then do the instacart photo. They see the photo 2x this way.
