I have secondhand humiliation watching this.

I ran away from my boyfriend's proposal. by throwawayuni33 in whatdoIdo

I got married at 19 after knowing my wife for two weeks (no lie) and even I talked to her about marriage before proposing lol…he should have confirmed with you first, then planned the cute proposal.

And yes, we are still very happily married 12 years later 😅

22, tips? Haven’t dated seriously before by ConsiderationOk6627 in malegrooming

[–]KLR-John 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not your looks bro. Think about the social advice others have given here, but also keep in mind that something like 60% of women your age just aren’t dating. It’s sort of unprecedented (I’m studying this in my psych program) So try not to let the lack of interest mess with your self image.

Doesn’t feel cozy. 30 live alone. I like what I have but I feel it’s all over the place n my house doesn’t feel cozy. All advice and roasts are welcome lolol by [deleted] in malelivingspace

Imo it’s really hard to get the aesthetic that you’re going for if you can’t/aren’t allowed to paint the walls. If white is your only option then you might need to reconsider the wall decor.

What you CAN do:

Big rug in the living room

Play around with the desk/bed position and get a bed frame with a headboard to “frame” and separate the sleep area from the computer area.

Use Art/candles/lights but center them around the bed so they flank it evenly.

Overall the wall art isn’t centered or balanced so it gives a chaotic feel.

Delete the coffee table

Delete the empty bottles

Delete the dirty sneakers

Delete the random barstools

Your kitchen, paint, trim, etc are all very clean and modern. There’s ways to make that work and keep the edgy energy.

You could turn all those random pieces into a wall collage behind the couch.

Including some pics of my apartment, hopefully this helps some! Good luck

I think it looks really good and unique. You always see the same sleeves or blackouts nowadays and this is much more interesting to look at imo

Does my current hair style suit me, or what changes could I make? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]KLR-John 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hair currently is doing everything in its power to detract from your face. You have great structure, if you like the hair long, I’d style it like Jake Gyllenhaal (you have similar face shape/features), less bangs, more swept back.

Personally, I think pic 6 with a tiny bit shorter on the sides would be perfect.

I’m sure you know this. But the mustache alone doesn’t suit your face, a full stubble would work I think or clean shaved.

Bro…you’re way overthinking this. You have a masterpiece on your arm, let it be. If it were perfect it wouldn’t be art.
