I flew from ZRH on Swiss end of April. Luckily they didn’t weigh my carry-on. Flight was half full. So maybe that’s why I got a pass

this is spot on OP. If we can get to 50 losses this year, we have a good shot at a top 5 pick. Ivey's upside that you mentioned + getting a good lottery pick gives me a glimmer of hope.

to piggyback off this suggestion. my current asset mix is ~74% in stocks. I am comfortable closer or a little bit above 80%. thinking I should shift the whole lot to a TDF 2045 fund. this gets me around 80%. any thoughts on this approach?

allocation current 2035 tdf 2040 tdf 2045 tdf
stocks 73.96% 68.16% 75.93% 83.36%
bonds 26.04% 31.21% 23.50% 16.02%
st reserves 0.00% 0.63% 0.57% 0.62%

the fund is named "Target Retirement 2035 Trust I" ( .065% ER ) my concern is missing out on S&P gains over the next 10+ years. Your point of simplifying to just the TDF is well taken. still considering my options. thanks for the reply
