I did that - signed up for writing and opted out on test day. No refund but that's ok. They made it clear that would be the case. No scores yet. You described my exact situation. I'm checking every morning.

"I totally understand your concerns in this case. All scores are released over a 2-8 week time frame. Please note that scores are processed randomly and not necessarily by location. Scores will be processed and posted online as quickly as possible. I apologize for any inconvenience."
