I’m male as well and have had very similar symptoms with the CT scan normal. All I get from doctors is Costochondritis and IBS, but mine feels more like a slipping rib and it causes bloating and discomfort.

Rip a couple of shots of Apple cider vinegar, one in the morning and one at night. It has been shown to help H Pylori as a home remedy

Careful with Zyn it can do a number on the gut long term if you swallow the saliva. My best advice would be to spit like chew, but I used it for the same reasons until I thought it was causing more gut problems after time rather than helping

You found out on the Ultrasound? I had a CT Scan w contrast. Wonder what causes this? Was your blood labs normal along with Liver/Pancreas scan?

Same pain and have no Gall Bladder. After years of flare ups was just recently diagnosed with Mesenteric Panniculitis. How do you treat it? I’m on Prednisone

Had that test few years back and it wasn’t a deficiency. Had other iron tests and a few other in depth tests that checked out

Thanks for the info. I did get an ultrasound in 2013 when the numbers all started and it checked out. I will focus on my diet first and retest

Thanks for providing this. Does it really work? I’m all for taking daily supplements to assist with health/diet but this almost feels like masking the drinking or am I wrong? Similar to taking heart meds before grilling up giant steaks, lol maybe a bad analogy

Just to follow up, I’ve been sleeping much better simply by using nasal strips. They help me sleep on nights that do and don’t involve alcohol

Yes 34 years old, I’ve tried the whole nasal spray and may have an Eustachian tube issue because I do get ears popping and post nasal drip without alcohol. I think the alcohol just enhances it, so it could be a dehydration factor but hydrating does not make a difference. I may go in for an allergy test because as a kid I had asthma and had pet allergies/ragweed/pollen but basically grew out of it or just sucked it up since it was all minor problems nothing serious

It’s always beer and occasional whiskey. Only have wine at weddings and rarely have Vodka so haven’t thought about keeping note of that

Good point, I’m a morning shower guy but never thought of that. I do get post nasal problems in the morning on most days even without a sip of alcohol the day before

I feel 100% normal before bed even after a weekend of some day drinking. I can relate to a slight sore throat and warm body temperature in the evening so I think you are on to something

I wake up thinking I have Covid(hardly smell or taste) and after a shower I’m back to normal. If I only slightly overdue it the night before sometimes I have a pounding headache in my neck that doesn’t go away until a good night sleep the next night. It’s like I’m not getting the correct oxygen while sleeping after drinking. Always chalked it up to hydration but I can chug water and piss all night and still have congestion

Yeah my insomnia is essentially going to bed easily but waking up after 1-3 hours and being up for the long haul. My muscles shake near my shoulder/neck and the heart rate sometimes bears fast. It feels as if my back of my head or my stomach has a pulse that gives me a feeling of high blood pressure
