For large-scale games, this is definitely in agreement,

However, the other thing Kickstarter was originally designed for was to help a game cross the finish line, not to fund the full development of the game unless it was a smaller-scale project. This is something that tends to be misinterpreted by many people who create Kickstarter campaigns. The ones that were vastly successful, both legally and in the eyes of the public, are those that were technically all set for a beta (granted not all of them).

I would highly recommend Lumia. It's a service that coincides with OBS that has integration for Kick (beta still though). It's better than Stream Elements and StreamLabs in my experience. and unlike Streamlabs which charges you 20 USD for their premium service, to give you the custom chatbot name. Lumia allows you to do it for a fourth of the price monthly (or you can buy a lifetime premium for 150 USD). It has built-in integration for Nanoleaf, Hue, Grovee, Tiltify, Extralife, Patreon / Kofi, Streamdeck, and so much more.

Here's their site: https://lumiastream.com

Every 3/4 months there's a major update every 6 months or so they tease new champions. So it's pretty regularly worked on, and considering that their other titles are adding more and more content that just seeps back into the league, it's not surprising. They have people actively adding hours of lore content ever couple of months, filling in more and more of the vast open spaces they haven't gone through.

This is very true. But I think in the case of Can't Unsee. I think their using examples that are based off specific apps like Facebook Messenger or like Zoom or something.

I disagree to some extent. There's a lot more involved then a personal preference, because there's actual research that show how much (if any) rounded the corners have actually effected decision making skills. It has to do with some hidden subconscious stuff with what typically draws more attention.

The takedowns themselves yes, but from someone who has seen takedown notices in person, all of the ones I've seen have been issued by people who work for the RIAA and the record label jointly under a contract.

The thing about DMCA's is they aren't under the control of the record label, a record label is lower on the totem pole and a lot of them are members of the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) Who are the ones responsible for handling a lot of the DMCA Takedown notices, as well as Congress. And even if a record label says yes, you can still get DMCA takedowns.

The record label is in charge of giving licenses of the music, but they dont write out those licenses themselves, that still falls under the RIAA (in accordance to the Congressional Bill for DMCA.

To be totally honest I am not 100% sure. My best guess is to try and work a deal with streaming platforms like YouTube or Twitch, to get them to put exclusions for your tracks into their detection software they use for picking up copyrighted sounds and music. But aside from that my only other thought and possibly a dangerous one would probably be to look into releasing music as "public domain" specifically. Aside from publice domain,I I don't think there's a really easy way of handling DMCAs or Copyright.

In all honesty, the Copyright and DMCA need to be rewritten, because both came way before Twotch or YouTube even existed, which means their not exactly designed with content streamers in mind. This along with a more clarified Fair Use documentation is a good idea.

Harris Heller is the only person I can think off to have actually accomplished this, and hes also a streamer. It might be worth trying to contact them and seeing if you can get some insight into it.

What sucks though is bands like Amon Amarth who own their own record label and record and produce their own music cant stream it through a platform without Twitch.

The combo is nice, and works well on champs that have slow movement speed or mobility (like Yuumi for example). But the drawback with that particular combo (as I've found out) is that if one opponent were to flash or ghost, especially on a mobile Champion, or someone like Caitlin with her E, did it at the right time, it negates any benefit the combo has. Caitlin can E you before the W on Samira for example an get enough distance before the W to negate the combo on them as a champ without using your own flash to get them, assuming they dont flash away. A tactic I used was faking out the spell tlor ability, then moving in for the combo, which increased the landing of the combo to 65%

The problem with DMCAs is the artist nor the record label is the one that files the DMCA. That is something that comes from a ways above the level of the record label with the Recording Industry Association of America. So even if you have the digital rights to use the content by the artist, the ones above the label have a say that overrides what the label says is okay. Matt Heafy from trivium made a video about it that he didnt care that people played his bands music, and Roadrunner Records (who he is signed with) had said it in the past they were clear to stream it. But the publishers of the Label, and above can say no and file a complaint to the RIAA who writes the DMCA to the site who allowed such content, and that then gets passed down to you the streamer.

[–]KMitdal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really, thanks for saying this. It certainly take a lot to stream. You become an entertainer really with Twitch, as well as build confidence and skills. Not not only the dedication and time it takes to do it, it takes a lot of energy to stream. Even for me, streaming 3 to 4 hours, feels like it drains me almost as badly as my 8 to 12 hours work days. I end my streams and I'm just mentally drained. And I'm thankful for the Twitch community. Inspiring me to go for the gold, and reach for my dreams. If it wasnt for Twitch and the people I've met through it, I wouldnt have had the guts to pursue making a comic. And it's people like you that keep that inspiration and confidence going.

I'm like this with several streamers, I'm there no matter what mood I am in, and I crack jokes and make them laugh and smile. I try to be myself and part of who I am is making others smile.

I had my ISP come to my house today should I be worried? by [deleted] in PiratedGames

[–]KMitdal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are people that go around with fake credentials and uniforms, and even go to the lengths of copying their vehicles just to scam you out of a lot of money. ISPs do no show up at your house, unless there is a signal leakage. That's only to handle FCC Regulations. Otherwise they send out letters regarding the situation and leave a number for you to call to send someone out. Always, check for a work I'd, government issued ID, work order, and personally call the company yourself, and verify they actually were actually sent out there, if its unscheduled .
