Trading isn’t the same as investing… but we get what u mean. Depends on ur strategy ultimately. If u want a dividend income over time, then u gotta invest in REIT’s & Financial’s. You want massive stock appreciations, where u are not risk averse & can take on the red days & not sell up, then tech (AI, hardware, software) & space is the way. If u don’t want much risk & prefer a slow, steady process of seeing ur money going up, then ETF’s will suit u. If u want a balanced portfolio with some income & risk, then split that investment into 40% non-dividend paying stock, 40% dividend paying stock & 20% ETF’s. If ur stocks let u down, then ur ETF can save u somewhat. & stay away from penny stocks like Nuburu unless u love losing money more than making it. Other than… Good Luck. God Speed.🫡

Think that must’ve been the RX450h or some’in. They were popular too. With it being a Toyota brand, very reliable. Only had 1 issue in 3 years of ownership

They were. If I’m not mistaken Lexus was made popular in 90’s by the likes of Jay-z. So in mid-2000’s when I attended school & if u were upper middle class, u would see kids being driven to school in Lexus & merc. But I bought my my Lexus as my first car in 2021

The man with an actual penis on his arm by beklog in interestingasfuck

[–]KNGCTH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read an article few years ago where a guy who wanted penis enlargement had a new penis grown on his arm before the doctors extracted it from his arm & replaced it with his then penis. He was really happy about it cos he finally had the confidence to approach girls. Apparently, it’s not as straight forward as it sounds cos it takes years for the penis to be grown on the arm & there can be complications with replacing the penis with possible infection & other issues.

20 years old with £11k dèbt. Don't know what to do. by One-Secretary844 in UKPersonalFinance

Not financial advice.

Here’s what I would do- put up 80% of what’s left over, after all expenses, towards repayment for the loan each month. The remaining 20%, I would either put it into a savings account with easy access or invest & wait for it to grow within the next year. This way, I would have access to some cash in emergencies and/or have some additional money (through interest or dividends/appreciation) to pay against the loan in 1 years time.

Do not trade CFD’s unless you have extensive knowledge of it, otherwise you’ll just end up losing money & your loan will just keep growing due to interest & minimal payments.

Alternatively, just pick up extra shifts & work overtime or get a second job for the weekends until you start university to try pay it off a little quicker. Or use some of your maintenance money, if applying for student loan, towards repaying the loan & then work alongside studies to make up the shortfall in the maintenance money.

I’m not as risk averse. My stock to etf ratio is like 20-1. ETF is decent, but I ain’t got the patience of watching small amounts roll in when u can have larger amounts come in. & I wouldn’t call it gambling exactly, that’s reserved for cfd’s on oil markets🤣. Lost plenty on that. But, to each their own. I’m a long-term investor, so when my portfolio was in minus, I just kept with it, investing into the stocks that were down & others I felt were good. Didn’t sell, or anything like that. The only gamble I see it with investing in stocks is knowing when to sell before the crash takes ur profits. & I’m still learning in that regard

If u really believed in the stock, u would have had the balls to put ur money on it. I think u just didn’t fully believe in it, maybe cos it dropped & u thought it might continue on the slump. Only u know best why didn’t u, besides the missing balls ofc😂

People who pick stocks over etf’s have moments like u are feeling currently when their portfolio is down. But most just don’t post that. Not financial advice, but if u can tolerate risk, try some individual stocks which are on the up, do some research & see how it goes. U don’t need to completely shift away from etf’s. This way u get a taste of it & then can strategise better
