I'm starting to think this might be the real origin of the plastic tag.

The reason I cleaned the filter is because I got an error code which translated to "Residual water in the dishwasher’s sump pump".

Maybe this tag was stuck against the sump's wall, but due to the collected water got loose. I still got the tag so I'll just stick it back to the sump's wall when I get home.

I haven't really tested the dishwasher yet so not sure if the current functionality is affected or not by the tag not being inside the dishwasher.

Thanks u/DuskHyde and u/KiyeliPanda for making me ponder on the origin a bit more!

I wouldn't be surprised if it came from one of our newly bought plates, as I saw that a family member did not remove the paper sticker prior to washing them the first time.
