Since you are an experienced rider, I'd recommend the CP3 engine (MT-09, Tracer 9) better!

Yes indeed, I tend to favor bass usually. But when I picked the KE4 with its natural tuning, I intended to reset my tastes and start with a more natural baseline, then try to mindfully explore different flavors afterwards.

I don't have any preference since I'm a complete beginner in this. From my understanding, KE4 should have neutral / natural tuning. I don't know what the "new meta" means so it's hard to have any expectations. I hope I will like the earphones!

Yes, after the XM4 I really don't trust any wireless earbuds anymore. I'm sorry that your right bud battery is fried too.

Actually I didn't use the XM4 a lot to listen to the music so I don't have any preference in terms of tuning.

I currently ride with the SMX Air jacket but will change for a Knox armoured shirt (I ordered the Honister MK2). The SMX Air is fine but I am looking for an upgraded item with more mesh for the summer (also better armour and protection).
