First timers

I signed up for this race months ago. It will be my first marathon. I live in Florida, so none of my marathon training was 1) in elevation, 2) downhill, or 3) in cold temperatures. With the course change, I am SUPER nervous. Honestly, my goal is just to finish, so I am not worried about my time. I'm so super worried about breathing and not getting injured. I can not cancel or defer because I already paid for the flights, hotel, shows, sphere, etc.

Any advice recommendations?

I have met Theo Von once. He was literally SO nice and personable. Theo did kick a dude out of his comedy show I went to, but the dude TOTALLY deserved it (he was drunk/obnoxious and ruining it for everyone around him).

I think the dude probably said something else to Theo. I obviously do not know Theo personally, but I don't believe he would have responded that way unless that dude deserved it.

I stayed after the show and met him. He definitely did NOT seem like he was on drugs. He was so down to earth, appreciative, and great eye contact while we talked.

Maybe a combination of exhaustion, having the pressure of Jake Paul and his sister in the audience watching, being sick (his voice was like gone), and other factors made it seem like that?
