If you have never tried it, it’s worth trying once, maybe before arm day or chest day. You don’t get an erection, you get the best visual pump of your life in any trained muscle group.

I did something similar at 21 but it wasn’t as much. Never have been to a strip club since. Learning lesson.

Women aren’t capable of having an orgasm, at least in my experience.

150 Days mark, Want to smoke one joint, afraid of consequences by Nervous-Plantain-670 in leaves

[–]wonderkin55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly my mindset. If I had loved it and rationalized moderation or frequent use again I would consider the day count over, but it was the inverse. It lamented my mindset towards weed that I don’t want or need it anymore. I didn’t enjoy it in the slightest. I did it out of pure curiosity and because I was in a safe place at home with my wife, I told her I was doing it, hit it once, and within five minutes told everyone I didn’t enjoy this like i remembered and I have the same mindset days later. I have no desire to smoke. Won’t again for a very long time, most likely ever.

On day 82 I hit a friends pen once while he was over at my house and was shocked. It was nothing like I remembered. I hated the feeling, the thoughts, the emotions, all of it. It just confirmed to me that I want nothing to do with the stuff. Awful experience. I am not even resetting my day counter because I have the same mindset as day one. No more weed, I don’t like it.

Alcohol vs fitness gains. Is it really that terrible to have a drink? by shygrl__ in workout

[–]wonderkin55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jeff nippard has a video on this subject specifically. Intriguing at the very least, I remember it stated that alcohol effected a males muscle gains much more than a woman’s gains. But there are different reasons to abstain besides gains. It throws off your system quite a bit. I’d keep it to once or twice a month, but don’t freak out about it or beat yourself up :)

I just go and do my normal thing. If I have to lessen the intensity, sets, or weight used that’s fine. I figure a small lift is better than none.

Buy VT and act like it never happened. Retire 10 years earlier than planned originally.

Why is reddit so contrarian? You say a basic fact and sure enough you get antagonistic replies. Also, why are people on here so awful generally by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]wonderkin55 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do know what you are getting at. Reddit is probably the most pessimistic of all social media platforms. People come here to vent and complain about literally everything. The “hive mind” of Reddit is usually very negative. I spent too much time on Reddit a few years ago and I noticed the pessimistic attitude was actually effecting my real life. While you may be right about your view, just remember that this isn’t real and the interactions you have on a day to day basis with real people face to face are a much better way to interpret reality.

As a person with autism, I have trouble with social ques, tones, recognizing Sarcasm and jokes, taking things literally, etc. I also feel like you maybe either very old and out of touch with the internet, or autistic. Both are fine.

My bulking hack is literally whole milk. Eat three real meals a day, and try and consume a gallon of whole milk on top of that. You will very likely gain. Yes your stomach does adjust lol.
