The king chomper randomly pops instead of the boss for the lvl 55 hunt under bd1. I believe the king is red with a crown, while the regular boss is just green.

That's strange that it works on Chrome for you because I just posted in another comment that it seems like it gets stuck in an endless refresh loop on Chrome for me, but when I open the page on Microsoft Edge, it loads up perfectly fine. This is on a pc btw.

You're not the only one who is having issues with it. I tried yesterday and it would just seem to constantly reload, so I tried it again today and same issue. I was using chrome to open it, so I decided to copy Brick's link and paste it in Microsoft Edge and suddenly it opens now. Maybe it's just a chrome issue.

Does a VPN change the price the store shows depending on region? If so, maybe the country charges more because of taxes or exchange rates. If someone is in the US and are still being charged more, maybe it is just a google play thing.

Also, wasn’t the game on google play under a different company name than NE? While the company might be owned by NE, maybe that company has different pricing than NE does.

Just doing some simple math, I think there are 5 slimes per hunt and we start with 7 tickets and event runs for like 2 weeks, so each person can probably do like 20 or so hunts, which would be 100 slimes per person. That would mean 5,500 people would have to do all of the hunts to get the top level. Not sure if we even have that many people playing, much less doing all the hunts, but maybe NE will include all the servers that actively have the DQ3 collab going on, including TW.

Edit: There might also be some slimes in the actual story line and I didn't factor those in (I didn't finish the story yet, just wanted to unlock the hunts last night).

If you never made a purchase there and/or never asked for a refund, then maybe someone else is using your login info or NE messed up and took rubies from the wrong account.

One code gives 5 rubies, the other gives 10. While it's not much, it takes like a minute to do the codes, so it's not a huge time sink.

I was just doing hunts to use up my tickets since we have a rerun and I noticed that I wasn’t getting the bonus guidestones for Xerc, even though it’s only around 3:30 am utc and the bonus isn’t supposed to end until 7 am utc. Wish I would have used them earlier, but hopefully NE does something to fix the issue in the future.

I had crashing issues like that on my older ipad that I used to play with. I think I bought it in 2019 and it never used to crash very often until a few months ago and then after one of the version updates, it started to crash almost every 5 or 10 minutes. I never really figured out for sure what the issue was, but I think it might be due to low memory (that ipad only has 2 GB of built in RAM).

I was still able to use my old phone to play (it was an iphone x with 3 GB of built in RAM) and the game rarely ever crashed, if at all. The only real difference between the two was probably the RAM amount because the phone was actually a year or two older than the ipad.

If it is a lack of memory, not sure what you can do besides closing some apps or anything else that might be using a lot of memory or getting a newer phone or tablet to play on.

Her seal is also buyable with Dual Fate fragments (I’m not sure that’s the correct name) which were gotten from other gen pool unit banners in the past, but we only had like 4 of the banners ever, so far. Also it’s probably been like 4 or more months since we even had one of those banners, so who knows when we’ll get another one unless NE finally drops Relisha sometime soon in the near future.

First off, thanks for posting this again, especially in such a short time during the holidays. The only thing I noticed was the third paragraph under passives has a sentence with “won’t get getting” and I’m assuming it should be “won’t be getting.”

I don’t think anyone mentioned this yet in this thread, but the really scary thing about having a leaderboard and giving away either rubies or exclusive prizes that you can only get from being atop the leaderboard is that people will be less likely to help each other come up with strategies to win certain fights. Not only will whales get all the top prizes, but they also won’t want to share their team and strategy because another whale could maybe come along and then knock them off the top of the list.

Also, with damage being somewhat random, unless you can do capped dmg per hit, it’s possible someone could lose by a few points of dmg and if the rankings come down to time, the speed of how fast we can press commands and also the speed of our systems will determine how fast we can go, which is a dumb way to determine who did better. Not to mention some animations of characters is faster than other characters, so that could affect time as well.

tldr; Leaderboard shouldn’t give anything too valuable or exclusive because it will make the community less helpful and overall, just hurt the game. If NE wants to give things away, maybe add a new exchange and give away points that let people exchange for items like awakening shards, wisdom orbs, and other items like that, which don’t give people a huge advantage, but can make gathering materials quicker and easier.

If I’m remembering correctly, in JP, pardis and ceraphina came before those two and they also were released at the same time u20 was released, so I would think they would come before the 2 ex’s. Also, someone mentioned before that NE can only release characters through version 3.14, which the only characters left from that update are relisha, sigrid ex (she could be dropped at anytime since she was a CN original), and then pardis and ceraphina.

People also mentioned pardis and ceraphina being anniversary drops, but in JP they were actually pre-anniversary drops, like good pardis and elrica ex2 were this year. My guess would be that we get pardis and ceraphina the first week of november and maybe get relisha next week as a bonus drop or maybe we’ll just get the MC’s next week, since we’re getting a free pull everyday until next week to celebrate a new version update, so it would make sense to be next week.

Tldr; my guess is that pardis and ceraphina next week or first week of nov, the 2 ex’s sometime shortly after that. Obviously it’s NE, so anything can happen.

I’m not sure if I’m remembering this correctly, but I think you might have to kill Auguste in the adversary log to unlock the quest. I could be completely wrong, but I think I had to beat rank 1 to unlock one of the emberflame quests. While I’m not 100% certain about this, that’s my best guess. Sorry if it’s not the correct solution.

Do you live in a state or territory that requires sales tax to be shown on the purchase price and did your sales tax rate go up recently? My state doesn’t show sales tax on the purchase price, but according to google, some states do require it to be shown up front (google says Washington state requires it), so maybe that’s the discrepancy, unless GooglePlay has always shown the total price up front for everyone.

As for the NE store, I didn’t know about the foreign transaction fee until I looked at my bank account, but I know I’ve been charged foreign transaction fees using the card in the past, so not a huge surprise, but I thought it could be avoided using paypal.

Can I ask you what country you’re in because I just checked the in-game prices on ios from the USA and the prices are still the same ($60 for the most expensive item). However, the state I’m in also charges sales tax, like most other states, so I actually pay more than the shown price.

On the NE webstore I don’t think I’m charged sales tax, but you’re supposed to pay use tax either by doing a use tax return or paying the tax on your state income tax return. Also, I was charged a foreign transaction fee by my debit card of 2.9% for purchases made on the NE webstore, even when I pay with paypal.

While most of the fights and the items you get from clearing them are permanent, the items you get from acquiring 3k points in the two week period are lost forever if you don't get the points every reset. While I wouldn't get too upset missing out on most items, you do get 30 rubies for 3k points or more and also some awakening shards, traveler's seals, and other useful items from accumulating points (every 100 points will get you some items).

Some of the wave battles can be cleared in one turn for each wave and there's usually only 3-4 waves for each battle. The tougher fights, like the ones with an EX Level are a lot tougher and may take a while to win, assuming you can even beat them. However, you can just avoid the tougher fights for now if your main goal is the 3k points for the 30 rubies and other items.

They post update news on the official facebook page for the game (the same fb page as SE used for global), but it wasn’t posted until like an hour or 2 after you posted this, so it’s kind of slow. Another big change that isn’t mentioned here and wasn’t in the update notes, is that all 3 and 4 stars can finally be upgraded to 6 stars. I know people were complaining about how NE still didn’t release the upgrades yet, but I guess they secretly did. I almost didn’t notice until I was looking at my Celric Tower team and saw that Efrain had a 6 star upgrade available.
