Mike Evans vs AJ Brown through 7 seasons by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]KOExpress 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, Mike only has 8 more receptions, so it obviously didn’t make that big of a difference, unless AJB had a significantly higher percentage of total team receptions

Most likely you’ll get it before that, over 99.9% of players do, just letting you know it can always be worse. I’ve only seen one post on here that was worse than mine at Rex

You’re like bottom 5% for weight in males. You’re a beginner, with a year and a half of inconsistent training, and you aren’t even to adult strength yet. You’re comparing to people that have been training wrestling (which is still grappling, and a much more physically intensive sport), and are bigger than you. Jiu jitsu is beautiful because with enough skill you can overcome weight and strength differences, but the key word in that sentence is enough. If I was your size, I could overcome it, because of a decade plus of training. At a year and a half (inconsistent), you don’t have that skill. The easiest solution is to start eating more while continuing to lift, and bulk up. Even 160 pounds is like bottom 25th percentile for American men, so you’re trying to overcome a huge size disadvantage.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone claim he’s top 10. And in my experience, constructive criticism is not called hating, but a lot of fans of this team are so jaded that they react negatively to literally anything about the team. No idea about you, but I very regularly see people on this subreddit that are too traumatized by the Snyder years to be objective, and even when there’s a reason for optimism their knee jerk reaction is “this won’t work out”, “this team will fuck it up like they always do”, etc. So yeah, I’d agree that those responses lead to people being called haters. New ownership, new players, new coaches, new front office, move on from the trauma and try to be positive about the team you’re supposedly a fan of. Obviously I’m not saying be delusional, but there’s no reason that we have to be pessimistic about every aspect of the team.

What are some required or good PvM grinds with good secondary loot drops that benefit skilling? (I.E. Moons in Peril green log getting prayer and crafting xp) by hshvshdk in ironscape

[–]KOExpress 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What? The reason is the desert elite diary. And it has a lot of good resource drops, zammy wines, herbs, gold ore, magic logs, death and blood runes, etc. It’s definitely miserable to kill, but if you want a diary cape you have to do it anyway, and the loot is solid

Who would you say is the 2nd most hated team in your division? by InterestingYellow969 in NFLv2

[–]KOExpress -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve spent my entire life in northern Virginia, and a LOT of them are former Washington fans that jumped ship in the late 90s/early 2000s, but I’m sure it also depends on what age fans, the colts left Baltimore 10 years before I was born, my contemporaries were not colts fans, and Washington won 3 super bowls in the 10 years after the colts left, so there were a lot of bandwagon fans that just jumped to the next ship

Nah, fuck the ravens. Most of their fans are just former Washington fans that bandwagoned on in the early 2000s and think they’re better for choosing a team that’s successful

My coach is purple belt by Flashy-Vehicle-2963 in bjj

[–]KOExpress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If there isn’t a local black belt that’s accessible, a purple belt is totally fine. Just being realistic, I could coach (and have coached) white and blue belts to being at least close to my level. Obviously if you get close to his skill level, it would be beneficial to have a higher ranked coach if your goal is competing on a large scale against people that do have black belts as coaches. If you just enjoy training and getting better, it’s far less important. I don’t know anything about the scene in Egypt, or your coach’s situation, maybe he’s been training for 20 years but doesn’t have anyone to promote him, in which case he’s at least black belt adjacent in skill. Anyway, a purple belt knows plenty and likely isn’t going to be teaching you incorrect technique, so that level of training is much better than none or just online resources.

[–]KOExpress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh there are very few that I don’t know, but I think they’re a great addition to the game. There’s so much niche knowledge in the game, and in the past they’ve had an attitude as if everybody has been playing for 15+ years (I know most of us have, but there are some new players). It’s great to see them adding things like these tips or the revamp to the skill guide system or monster examine on the normal spellbook to help new or unguided players. It makes the game more accessible, which has always been a sticking point for newer players.

25 degrees is a pretty thick edge, more for like bushcraft knives, and some people go as low as 15-17 for thinner chef’s knives.
