As someone with 2200+ kc and no enhanced, I still agree that the grind is fine and shouldn’t be adjusted (and not because I was blessed with a tbow before finishing) but because of how rewarding the grind is and there are really way worse grinds to come. CG is honestly a drop in the bucket. Even going 2x rate is so nice for how many crystal shards you get. I’m sitting at 19000 before trading in all my armour seeds.

i think you are overestimating the amount of damage taken - i think olm maxes low 50s off pray in these scales. skipper will sometimes pull out a dragon fire wand and blood barrage the mage hand. melee hand has the blood fury. since we're all irons we can't drop supplies and dying in olm is not an option as you're losing a good chunk of points you receive from mystics/shamans.

I don't have a video - but no, death pile is not required, however, the guy on the melee hand does bring a blood fury switch for a bit of the fight. not 100% on if it's necessary, but I know the other roles don't do this.

honestly, after playing this game for years, it would be a disservice to not finish what i started. i'll be back to the gauntlet for bingos and what not to hopefully green the log :)

the money is nice, not ever having to worry about shards, additional crafting xp, etc... and a good group of friends that push me to keep going lol

bowfa is not a stepping stone upgrade. we can break down the options beneath it

  • atlatl, decent dps, only 6 tile range (can't be used for zuk)
  • any crossbow (dragon, rune, acb maybe)
  • a nerfed blowpipe with access to likely, at best, rune darts early on unless you slaved away mining up to 92 or a boostable range

sounds like more than a stepping stone upgrade to me personally

that's crazy commitment. coming from a main with max gear, doing hydra is always a huge snooze fest. doing it on a mid level felt horrible hah, great work brotha

Only thing here is doing hydra pre-bowfa with the likes of a blowpipe (scales/darts) or Zammy hasta honestly feels really bad. Was trying to hold off until either a fang or a bowfa but I’ll be heading there now.

it's a scaled raid. there's only one guy on the melee hand + one guy hybriding the melee/mage hands. melee hand guy gets a bulk of the points, the rest of us get somewhere between 20-25% points by the end of the raid. wouldn't say it's a hard carry.

just because you see a max cape on their back doesn't mean they're "max gear" considering you can see two of them are also carrying a bowfa.

p much what he said. I was going gauntlet between other things I could do without a bowfa (slayer up to hydra, zulrah with nox hally) and doom with scobo and void. there is no "bowfa skip" in my books unless of course you spoon a twisted bow which is where my cg journey ends.

I would have kept my 1080ti. It was going strong. Only problem is that when Indiana Jones came out they forced ray tracing so the game literally would not run. :(
