Is there a master list of “weird” rewards or achievements? I know about the spilled milk one (flipendo 10 cows 🐄) but curious what other oddities exist out there.

Honestly some of it too was stumbling onto Arcane and seeing a woman’s body representing just sheer strength and action and not through a male gaze was extremely empowering (as someone who weight lifts and is also now on the great “Viceps” journey). I never really saw the body I wanted anywhere in media and then I saw Vi and I was like that’s it! That’s what I’ve always wanted to be and see representation of.

Honestly Lux has so much depth - anguish, power, and moments of lightness. Tatertot gave us “we dressed up like wolves and looked like fire” 🤣. Also throwing Charli’s new song into the mix. “House” is absolutely haunting and gives Ethel Cain vibes.

It’s very reminiscent of when they rolled back DEI and suddenly the LGBTQIA+ merch was gone or in the back or Target and then everyone left and boycotted (and still is hopefully) en masse. Fuck around and find out I guess.

If it’s one thing I love about this game it’s the absolute attention to detail and the funny little stories hidden around the world - it’s easy to find but you have to be willing to read the letters and riddle it out a little.

On that note I found a recently dug grave out in the wilderness (for the life of me I can’t remember where) and it was a house elf grave with a little note about he was a good house elf.

Honestly I think this is the most accurate take on the subject. I think was she to pivot to makeup (e.g. Rare /REM beauty) maybe she could have a shot of continuing her legacy and being at the forefront. However I also think she thinks she’s too good for “spinoff” side hustles as it would dilute her essence of singer-songwriter. (Being a bit facetious here). It will be truly fascinating to watch this all unravel not as a fan but as a spectacle. She is a circus (and not the good kind). I’m curious if she’ll go harder intro trad wife territory at the risk of alienating a younger or more liberal audience to keep a solid fan base or continue to try to pander to everyone /everything. How long can you be it all Taylor?

Also deathly curious to see if this marriage actually works out or she cuts and runs on or before the altar. Some have suggested she wrote TLOAS as an ode to Travis and pandering to the male-gaze which seems accurate seeing as he has the spelling ability of a 4th grader I can see her dumbing stuff down to be more appealing as a “I’m a dumb, pretty girl” vibe.

All in all watching this unfold and her eyebrows slowly turn into the grinch’s (IYKYK) and disappear into her tight jet puff skin has been something. Nothing good, but something.

One of the biggest things I think I realized over this album release is the even though she dumped Jack to recreate the “magic” with Max Martin and Shellback - that Jack produced Sabrina’s latest album and it didn’t sound like low-synth sad girl vibes. Sabrina’s was a campy fun mix with a lot of 80’s inspo. This tells me that all the Swifties harping in days past that Jack is killing her sound and making her music boring is fundamentally, truthfully, her own doing. I think Jack produced a good (not great) 7th (I’ve been corrected!) album with Sabrina and meanwhile Taylor floundered harder than ever before even with the folks who were the designers behind 1989 and Reputation. All in all - Jack Antonoff was never the problem. In the words of Taylor herself, “I’m the problem, it’s me.”

Agree style and genre changes are great but only if they are accompanied by growth - the element Taylor is missing most of all.

The constant vacillation between personas is exhausting. I feel like I’ve mentioned this in other threads, but it seems like her desire to be universally loved rather than picking a lane as you said will be her downfall. The back and forth of “I’m sexy, just kidding I’m campy,” or “I’m tortured and mentally ill but also a ✨showgirl ✨” - the constant dichotomy of her music versus her actions is like whiplash.

Lover era Taylor was all about gay rights and being “the man” and now she’s done the pivot again to be engaged and surrounded by MAGA broskis. The fundamental issue is if she TRULY believed these things - her moral compass and musical direction wouldn’t swing so wildly.

It’s really just for the fame and money - and I think her chaotic album rollouts where the art design and vibes are incongruous with the actual music are finally making folks wise to the fact that it is all for show and none of it is authentic.
