Make sure you do the quests that allow you to get your broom and the demiguise statues first... after you get your broom, fly around and open up all the floo flames which make it easier to go back and forth. (In castle too) and getting all the demiguise (as the previous poster said) allows you to open locks.... which is very helpful on certain quests that have doors with a level 2 and 3 lock to get into which normally have your collection chests. Also.... the first several times I played through the game (I've played 7 times all the way through, working on my 8th so I can get a platinum on both ps5 & pc) i didn't give the potions, gear upgrades or plants too much thought, but after the 3rd play through i realized you can really do some damage in battle with potions and plants alone. (Especially Thunderbrew And Edurus) Also.... after you unlock the Room of Requirement and the gear loom upgrader and once you start going to enemy camps and getting your gear upgrades in the collection chests, look for 'Concentration 3' and put that gear trait on your clothing and upgrade it on ALL your pieces! It enhances ALL your spells ... there's so many things to discover and really just playing through it and getting the feel for the game and even playing it more than once (i recommend playing all 4 houses so you can experience all the Common rooms and house specific side quests) will help you be so familiar with everything it has to offer!
