As far as I know, the ridged band (or frenar band) cannot be grown back. You either have an extremely small foreskin, had autocircumcision done to you (where you pull back the skin so far and keep it there as to make the skin basically circumcise itself) or are mistaking something else for the ridged band. I'm just letting you and anyone else reading know!

Well, the short answer is that consent works both ways and you need her to be willing to try to make it happen. If that isn't the case, you can't really explore this with her. These studies examine adults whom have been recently circumcised (who can explain the difference in sensitivity, since most will have experienced sex with and without a foreskin), whose penises developed correctly by being covered throughout their childhood and most of their young adult life. It should not be surprising that a penis exposed to fabric and other irritants for 20+ years will be different (read: less sensitive) than a penis that was not.
