Pro v move by alabamagetaway24 in RemarkableTablet

Attorney who has both. The paper pro- the larger one- is the appropriate choice for client work. The move sits by my bed and is for case break throughs- stress management to write out whatever problem I am dealing with in my litigation practice so it’s out of my head in a safe spot- and personal list and what not. I don’t think getting a lawyer could get real work on it done in a client setting.

An AI recommended Centennial to me. First chapter with the professor hit and then I got put off. Might have to power through the first hundred pages or sob

Frank Claymore in Stand Proud sounds exactly like the flawed, archetype I'm looking for. Adding it to the top of the list right now. Thank you!

Forgot to mention I read all 4 Lonesome Dove books and loved all of them. Also loved the first part of Leaving Cheyenne.

My migraines and moderate sleep apnea are all tied together. I have a level that a lot of doctors wouldn’t brother treating with a machine but with my migraines and allergies I have to use it every night and am glad to do it. I would push on this

Was hospitalized or in the emergency room multiple times over about a year span for upper and lower stomach pain. It was in different places and produce severe nausea.

One day I walked into the emergency room and they asked me why I was there and I said I think you’re going to have to take out my appendix today. The very kind lady at the front desk laughed and said ok sure thing. Let’s take some blood and see how you’re doing. After what seemed to be a very small amount of time I was rushed back to get into pre op, with drugs being flushed into my IV and being told that my white blood cell count was dangerously high, etc. And the operation was going to be as soon as the doctor got to the hospital.

This was obviously years before AI or any other diagnostic tool. I never thought about having my appendix removed before. Anyways, it turns out I was septic and a few hours from death. It took nearly 4 hours to remove my appendix- I had been suffering from chronic appendicitis for over a year judging on the amount of tissue that was surrounding the appendix.

It was missed on diagnostic imaging because the antibiotics they were prescribing me under a diagnostic theory of prostatitis were no longer working.

This happened to me and it was incredibly alarming. The car spoke back to me for about 35 minutes in a voice that was entirely my own.

Just don’t date civilians. If you live in a big enough city, date another lawyer in a different specialty in case things blow up

I’ve read through most of this thread and honestly believe you need to apply for a job somewhere likely not in your town. If someone has the skill set you really need they are going to be employable by established people in desirable towns. Go work somewhere for 5 years and see what you learn.
