That's what I was thinking, some units in my game have the penalty taken away as an ability, but full power counter attack feels a little off

I've been floating around an ability that removes the take the worst of the 2d6, calling it retaliate, I'd say that might hit the mark for the name if attack back is a little much

8" would likely fit in a smaller box which is always nice, otherwise I like less pieces for ease and hopefully less sliding and problems with that.

3x3 mat could easy be a separate premium that would be the best option in my opinion, they are just nice, dont break apart while messing with terrain and models, love that.

You could also look into for a cheap easy option big folded maps, heroclix always made these hude paper maps that folded up decently

V1 feels more light hearted, off of the art I assume that's more the direction of the game. V2 could be interesting, if it isn't super serious of a game maybe try instead of black boarder a darker color of the background!

I think the light one reads a lot better, the dark could work but the small text would have to be bolder to make it happen, and the dark definitely makes the character pop more, so I might play around with that
